after alan's departure, depeche mode is going down, gore has no idea about composing good music, he can only write good lyrics for songs, fletcher is useless like always, the current mixes are a cacophony of sounds that hurt the main song, in the long run, this cannot be listened to without ear pain.Wilder's departure was the worst thing that could happen to Depeche Mode
im glad that theyre still recording and performing and i think im very curious and excited to see what they release this year, but im super disappointed that the snare on just cant get enough is louder than the bloody snare on stripped. who on earth is doing the sound design? i hope that the sound design in this "new era" five years later is a bit better
