The TCX Vibe Waterproof boots provide a casual look with ample ankle protection. These boots utilize a suede leather upper with Air Tech Fabric integrated throughout for improved breathability. There is a waterproof lining incorporated also, so you can rest assured that moisture won’t find its way in.
Protection comes by way of ankle inserts and PVC, micro-injected ankle guards on the inside and outside of the exterior. Those guards also have mesh intake vents to help improve breathability. Shift pads are made from bicast leather and there’s additional leather reinforcements on the toes as well.
You get a newly designed, high-grip rubber sole and lace up retention system. There’s also a Velcro tab at the top of each collar to allow you to really get things nice and secure. Flex zones behind the ankles give the Vibe Waterproof boots a bit of flex also.
These are Euro 44, or roughly a US size 10, and fit is on point. I’m 10.5 usually and would stick with the 44. The removable inner sole is definitely firm, with plenty of support at the heel. I could do with a bit more arch support, but otherwise the interior is comfortable.

TCX probably make the best casual technical boots. In fact I'd say they make the best casual boots in terms of protection and comfort.

Solid replacement for my pair of X-cubes, that hel through most of the last decade. simple yet stylish and real sturdy.
The sole could use a tad more traction though.
