The Shoei GT-Air is one of the brands most popular sport touring models.
It’s got a five-ply matrix shell available in three different shell sizes.
The DOT approved helmet also features a channeled multi-piece EPS liner inside.
Then there’s the 3D Max-Dry interior that’s fully removable and washable, proven to wick moisture effectively and dry quick. There are multi-layer cheek pads and different interior liner sizes available to really refine fit.
Then there’s the QSV-1 sun shield that operates by way of a lever on the side.
The main CNS-1 shield protects from 99% of UV rays and is shaped to provide a distortion free view. It works with the Pinlock EVO system too for reliable fog-free riding.
Ventilation comes by way of vents on the front and back. The helmet’s design is the result of wind tunnel testing so is built to flow lots of air effectively while remaining quiet on the road.
This one’s a Large and it weighs 3 pounds 9 ounces. It also comes with a five year warranty.

Great helmet! I purchased it after crashing in my rf-1200. The gt air is awesome for summer and winter. No leaking during rain and in summer the flip down visor is a lifesaver. I also have a bell qualifier dlx as for fitment the bell fills a bit lose where the shoei fills snug all around. Both are the same size but the gt air definitely shows its value.
