I just started making this in woodwork class today. That 4mm plywood was scarce so we eventually had to machine some paneling down to 4mm and use that instead. Good video, practical design, easy to make and easty assembly 10/10.

Just a tip; identically shaped parts (like the ones you used to build up the stock and receiver of the gun) can be stack cut. Basically, you stack however many pieces of plywood you need and temporarily attach them together with a screw in an area that will be cut off. Place your template on the top piece and saw all of them at once. Your pieces will be all the same and it saves you some time...
yeah, but you might want to do it only like two at a time, because if it gets too high, while your cutting it would fall, and after you cut off the piece with the screw, nothing holds onto it.
You can also back each piece with blue painters tape, and use super glue between the tape layers to hold it together. The peel strength of blue tape is pretty weak, which is what keeps it from pulling paint up when you pull it off. But its sheer strength (horizontal) is excellent. I use this trick all the time.
After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

In the lower right corner of the manual you have A4, Letter, P4. Does this mean the sizes it will print to or is A4 the only size that works to get the right sizes for the parts. It doesn't seem to print right on letter.

Is there a posting somewhere on how to translate these plans? I can't buy materials in metric. Why do some of the measurements have a slashed zero before the number? Love the designs. Great work.

I ask this because since the wooden parts would be the same thickness, theoretically, all the parts can be cut out with a laser cutter, which I may do.

+Press G To Game with 3,6mm plywood you need a wooden dowel (barrel) with 4x3,6=14,4mm diameter. If you adjust some parts it should be possible with 3,6mm

hello, i made it with the templates but with 3 mm plywood and with a jigsaw and i have a problem, when i load it with 4 rubberbands there isn't any problem, but when i load with 8 rubberband it has a lot of problens, it shoot when i reload and not when i use the trigger. It probably depends on your country and the store you buy it from. Some people may have deals. Also, you may already own any amount of the tools required. Really hard to estimate.

I also had to use wood glue to put the paper on the plywood so I'll have some extra sanding to do.

4mm (5/32 inch) plywood. All parts are smaller than A4 paper (210x297mm).

You can do it with 3mm plywood, but then you have to adjust many parts.
I think, in english it is called aspen (populus) plywood. The colt single action army grips are cherry (american black). Dowels are European Beech.

It should work with letter. Set page size "actual size" or "custom scale: 100%" (Adobe Reader 11)

Could these lans be used to make LARP/SCA band guns? We use silicone exercise tubing, it has a lot more strength then a normal rubber band.
