Just got the Pink Roses candle. Can’t wait to try it out, as it is my first roses one :) but will probably display it nicely in my living room for now! Next on my list is the 34 or all black Baies one!

I so agree about the problem of a light colored wax and light colored vessel. I have just recently rediscovered my passion for candles and have dived into the world of Byredo, Trudon, Carriere Freres, Le Labo etc - and just thought about this very thing! The black wax and matte black vessels of Byredo disguise so many flaws - like their tendency to tunnel (very irritating at $94!!)…but I have no idea whether they leave soot behind since I would need to wipe the jar to see it! As opposed to DIPTYQUE and Jo Malone - the soot is omnipresent and frustrating. It grosses me out to think that we are inhaling that! Anyway, thanks for a lovely video; I’m a new subscriber!
@@love.soojineee would you say the bigger vessel has a better throw? I’m thinking about getting the largest one but I’d be heartbroken if there was no scent. Especially at that price.
@@earphbound720 personally, the 600g has a stronger scent compared to the 1500g. But the 1500g vessel is 😍 they are quite expensive. they do go on sale at the Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, 24S and many other stores time to time like 15-20% and you can also use Rakuten/Honey (cash back services). hope that helps! happy thanksgiving 🦃🍁
I am several months late so I have no idea if you’ll see this! I agree about the DIPTYQUE figuier scent strength - definitely not for folks who like a VERY strong fragrance. Have you tried the Le Labo FIGUE? I will say that that is one of the first candles I’ve ever encountered that might be a teensy bit too strong?? Certainly not for me! But it’s one candle that guests have occasionally commented on its being way too strong for them. That is my favorite type of candle - if the scent is elegant and comped and multilayered, bring it on!!!

they have great perfume selections too! Diptyque boutiques are great, they provide a lot of samples so you can try 😉

DIPTYQUE has several candles with perfume companion pieces! Figuier - Philosykos. Baies - L’Ombre dans L’Eau. Do Son - Tubereuse.

Figuier is my jam. I just wish the scent was stronger in the candles. I love the room spray though
yes, the scent is a bit weaker especially in the bigger jars! the room sprays are great!!! 💕
