Swapping an 83-87 Climate Control Unit into a 1975 C10

In this video I swap a climate control head unit from a 83-87 C10 into my 1975 Chevy C10. Overall not too bad, and now that I've done the hard part of identifying which wires/vacuum lines to splice into it is a totally a do-able project.
Wiring Instructions:
Blower Motor Fan Switch:
brown/white (83-87) = brown (75)
blue (83-87) = blue (75)
tan (83-87) = green (75)
orange (83-87) = orange (75)
Vent Selector Switch:
green (83-87) = green/white (75)
brown (83-87) = brown (75)
2x brown/white (83-87) = brown and yellow (75)
Vacuum Switch:
grey (83-87) = grey (75)
orange (83-87) = orange (75)
tan (83-87) = tan (75)
black (83-87) = pink (75)
blue (83-87) = blue (75)

hey, i’m new to electrical stuff. how do you use the multimeter with all those different settings? and when you say continuity does that mean there’s constant power ?

@@jaiseholland6521 continuity simplified means there’s no break in the wire. so if you measure one end of a wire to the next end, and if it’s not cut in half then you have continuity
