ist only me or some one thinkin the same, why you dont fix your power supply chanel 🤭
There is a saying the mechanics car is never fixed, and a builders home is always in need of repair.
He doesn't get paid for that. 😁
We need to see that... Guys Put a like on this comment so that NF can see it😉
Having the NF.Short on my bench, being small, compact, and easy to use with excellent volt Amp range, I rarely ever use the Rigol. The Rigol is big and bulky with no real benefit unless third digit accuracy is important, and that is not the case for any repair business. I have 2 working channels on the Rigol. Fixing the third channel on something I'm not going to use is just a waste of time. Maybe I'll look into it in the future when time permits.
WHAT!!!???? Don't you know that the man is busy fixing his customer's stuff!!
He ain't got NO time for that!!!
Just kidding.............
Yeah, I was thinking the same thing but just like the plumber's family, THEY ARE THE LAST TO GET WORK DONE..............the plumber's wife does it all.
That faulty Chanel 3 power supply would make a great repair video too 👍
Hello , yea I will and I’m 💯 that Alex himself can fix it with eyes closed !!!
I agree..
It doesn't bring money to the company, so...
You sure got your handsful with all those graphics cards. Nice voltage injection device you promoted Alex. Keep up the great work.
Alex, I am so happy to watch you become more successful as you grow your business! Your work is the best and you prevent so much e-waste by helping us repair our electronics. You also teach as you go, inspiring others to learn the intricacies of what you do to maybe repair their own devices. Fantastic business model you have put together! Keep it up!
Just placed order for that NFShort/PSU. Been wanting and looking for a supply with those features but none fit the bill…. Now to clear off a spot for it on the bench. Keep up the great work.
What I like to do in the case of welded on chips is to use the grinder to separate the welded on contacts from the rest of the chip, remove the chip and then deal with the remaining legs.
I know a guy that can fix that 3rd channel😂
Who is he
I think his name is Alex...😂
Lol
@@kamm3021 nah he's gonna make it worse 💀💀
Jk
Or sell you a new one 😉
I've been watching your videos for a while from the UK and now you got me as a customer, I just placed an order with you including NF Inject.
Give a like if you want Alex to make a video about trying to fix the Faulty Chanel 3 power supply. After 100 like,he have to do!
I'd like to see you repair your Rigol 3rd channel 😀
I upgraded from the vc04 mechanic to this and its much better. Sits in my bench beautifully.
man, i am learning so much from you it's insane, can't wait to gather enough funds to buy some tools and stuff from you and see where it takes. Keep em coming, loving and learning from your content.
i have one of these injection tools - such a time saver
And I do not have such a tool which prevents me from diagnosing a faulty RTX2080...
@@TwiztedJugallo even if you have it, you still need a thermal cam or somewhat knows the area where the heat may rose to be able to diagnose easily.
@@siontheodorus1501 Sometimes you can feel the heat, use alcohol , or rosin flux pen to detect the heat spot.
@@user-fl2ug7sr3t yeah but you would also still need to know where the area roughly is. I think rosin flux is more effective since alcohol can just vaporize without any additional heat from the board.
@@siontheodorus1501 yes
After watching your channel, it has motivated me to learn electronics...
So glad to see you back , I wish you had a asking question hotline.
I like how he’s so positive and likes to say yes. We have this chip in stock but we might have a donor board right here. Everything is in stock!
Ur videos are so captivating…although I don’t know how to do anything u do..at least I gain the knowledge u share…I build a lot of computers and thanks to UA-camrs such as urself I don’t need to go to fancy schools and colleges to gain the knowledge…respect…I wish I could solder and do these types of things
On a side note.. I just got the NF PCB holder, the one with the 6 sliders... THIS THING IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!
Ordered it today!! Looking forward to playing with this voltage injector!
man your scope has an amazing picture quality!!!
This is why I leave my cards alone. Shaving off 5 degrees by replacing thermal paste / pads is not worth losing your warranty over. The Gigabyte Gaming OC line has 4 year warranty, this card should still be in warranty. I'm guessing they removed the warranty sticker though and couldn't RMA it. I have a Gigabyte Gaming OC 3080 12gb, I bought it for the 4 year warranty and will use it until it dies.
I love watching you fix everything and I'm able to learn alot thank you for the content
Throws donor boards in a drawer... Love your work sir!
When are you doing the video on fixing your bench power supply 5v rail?
The Voltage Injection NF.Short tool is worth its weight in gold!
Alex I think very soon you will change your profession to either a standup comedian or go full time in e-commerce business, all the signs are very clear, 9th dimension, components playing games, you playing games with them and yes then there is the sales pitch, "Anti glare microscope with ring light" is back in stock, the voltage injection tool is back too. Whatever profession you choose Alex we will fully support you.👍👍👍
Good work . I am sure it's going to work when you're done 👍
Its perfect that you made a video about this specific topic because i was thinking about buying one of those Short-injector machine. 😎😎✅
Is there any chance you can show us a video on Desk management, I always find my desk getting cluttered badly and I would like some ideas on how to clean it up and cord management.
Great to have ya back!
Why you don,t repair your power supply and show us what is inside that big 3 channels PSU? You can make great video. 😁😁
Good see ya Alex. Nice background that you guys moved new building awesome 👌
It might be possible to make a jig that would allow a Dremel tool to remove small amounts of material on each pass and thereby grind away a stuck chip, leaving the board undamaged.
I've asked you several times over the past year about using a PS to inject voltage. Now I know.
So it is just a bench power supply.
Hi Alex.. I think your camera's setup is too close to your workstation/ or too zoomed in . Maybe you can zoom out a bit . Ty sir😉
Shield removed from iPad is called
"iShield" 😌
My Hero 🎉 hope all the best to you❤
Would like to see the follow up on this card.
From experience, put a photo of the connector as not all multimeters have the same connector interface.
Every time I see a graphics card repair I will surely watch!
you can test the card without 1 phase to make sure the GPU is still working. Did from experience
Super job Alex!
Am always watching an learning even though I don't comment thank you
How about for the desktop motherboard, how many voltage recommended to inject?
Maybe you could fix that bench power supply and let us watch :)
What tool you are using single probe? Is it the same machine volt injection? 15:45
Voltage injection nf when i want to inject voltahe should i set the voltage to like 1volt what about the current will i set the current as well or will i only set the voltage
I wonder if this was one of the cards that fell subject to the “doom beta” also wouldn’t it have been under warranty?
Good job mate 👍
Why don't you repair your power supply?
Came in for no power.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your tool and explaining it!
Great tool !
Awesome tool! 👍
Every bench power supply should be able to handle the power it can deliver.
I have a question and it's been a dilemma of mine but it is true that you can't always inject voltage on a short with a DC bench power supply? I use the TEKPOWER TP3005T and i turn off current protection but I can't always boost amps on a short.
Northridge is so busy, he cannot fix his own benchtop power supply.
What thermal are you used sir ?
Repair your Rigol PSU for us :)
is it okay to inject voltage on any component we want??
The fact the third channel of his bench power supply is broken and he didn't repair it.😀
MicroOhmeter is the best way to find short circuits, is non-invasive and no thermo camera needed
I Know a guy who inyect always 4 volts 4 amps in phones. He said as there's a short, current will not damage since is consume by short. What's you opinion about it Alex??
If the short blows open (not that unlikely with 16W going through it) it can fry whatever is connected to these traces.
If some one made misstake with measurements (we are only humans) it is gonna kill every component that needs low voltage power supply: CPU, MemC, Mem and so on.
Well.... there's a short... but what happens if the short burns out? Not impressed with your 'guy'.
@@DummyLooks truth, but this guy doesn't keep the current, he only give touches, that's why he trust his technic.
Also, this guy says he does that when he do not know the voltage of the line, if he does know then he inyect the line value. Another guy I follow only inyect a 3rd part of line voltage.
So for the initial volt injection is 1v right?
Привет, Алекс! Ютуб канал «майнеры в носках» рулят в видеокартах! Он прогары плат ремонтирует как произведение исскуства) Посмотри, это удивительно!
I need more practice with my thermal camera. Have the extra lens but still can't figure out what is hot and what is not. Watched the video, but still need practice
Where can we get this product if we are from Europe
Does it also have USB charging port?
Can you please include the input voltage for the items you sell. Here in Australia we run on 240v AC. Putting that in a 110v AC device wouldn't be a nice outcome.
@big nig Most of the power supply's in those types of tools work on 90-240 volts.... That's what good about Switch mode power supply's AKA SMPS......
Works with all inputs 110-240
What is the AC Voltage Input Range for the NF.Short Voltage Injection Tool?
110-240 works on all inputs.
ca you explain us why do you inject voltage by 1.7 volts?
To keep the smoke in the cpu
How much is the tool?
I hope there is one of these left on payday :)
One of the smd cap shorted on intel i7 2670 2nd gen chip, everything perfect on the board dell xps 15 l502x motherboard. Any help ?
It looks as if the pad and pins get welded together.
I owned 100 3 series gpu, Gigabyte 3080 ti & 3090 were only failures. My wallet will fail to buy another gig product.
Spelling mistake in thumbnail, please correct
Thanks Fixed
Nice, is it ok for 220AC?
Yes 110-240
I am trying to fix a Radeon rx 6800 but 12v rails on the pcie connection is measuring above 12v I think. It’s reading 1850ish in continuity mode, does anyone know what this means?
To beep, or not to beep, that is the question.
Lol tell me how bad it is to do what im about to explain …context: im gpu mining … i have two gpus not working properly… to inject voltage i used a server psu with a breakout board plugged into a riser and the card … turn psu on and it fires up with no motherboard so its injecting voltage … i tried using rubbing alcohol to distinguish a short but couldnt find it … well maybe try rosin flux before i buy a thermal cam
If i worked there i would currier it to ourselfs to fix it, and see if they notice they are fixing there own stuff...😄
Awesome ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
Is the NF.Short 110v AC only?
110-240. Works with all inputs.
happy ramadhan alex
another sample for why to avoid anything gigabyte slaps their logo on
To beep or not to beep. That is the question.
👍
I'm looking for a job
from turkey
Schade! Mein Abo hat dieser Kanal verloren.
🙏👏👏👏🙏

FIX !! FIX!! FIX!!
