Why go to the “office” when that venue, coworkers and AI augmented enterprise information reside in your headset? Caution: The distributed enterprise will become the ultimate playground for bad actors.
I am not using the Gartner hype cycle to foster my edutainment. Those agents are going to be holograms. Luminex 2.0 have integrated holograms into interactive art. What happens when you contradict mimesis.
CES was a joke last year. Everything was AI. AI PC cases, AI PC ram, AI PC fans, AI AI AI, most of them having nothing to do with Artificial Intelligence...
Most ”AI” isn’t AI. The AI the ordinary person gets access to is just a function to gather information and present it in a poor attempt to make it look as it is a human who has done it. Intelligence is about drawing conclusions and solving problems that are original. Obviously those systems exist, become better, and are presented. But besides those who can be used to produce “original” literature, art, music, and similar, those who provides advanced engineering problem solving isn’t something we will get access to through our phones and computers. And there will for the foreseeable future always be a high costs to buy or access it, besides the scrutinizing for security issues. Because “big money” doesn’t want competition. E.g. Adobe can let its AI “harvest” the underlying knowledge of the artists that uses its software, so it can use it’s for their own purposes. But ni one would be able to “harvest” Adobe’s underlying software ideas to use it’s for competitive purposes making apps. The coders will do what they can to not allow the non coders to have access to an AI that can fully replace them. Only “fragmentally”… i.e. functions that can aid someone who already can code reasonable well. And the economists running the rudder in the corporations, will be reluctant to let AI advance in their areas so they themselves get replaced.
lisa su from amd will not be speaking a 2025 CES it seems. That is good new for amd shareholders because she talks about how big TAM will be by 2027, but can't seem to give any numbers for amd 2 months out. When empty suit lisa su speaks, no one listens. Time for lisa su to go.
AI has become overhyped just like any other technologies before it and soon we will realize the limitations. AI toasters? What would they do different from dumb toasters? Will it know the type of bread, thickness, and apply the heat appropriately? It sounds cool but not that necessary for a toaster.
packing and getting ready as i type this. i will be at the nvidia jensen keynote as well. nj to vegas.
💚🖤📈🇺🇸
it's really crazy how nobody is talking about the book the hidden path to manifesting financial power
We just want a new Nvidia Shield with latest Nvidia hardware!!!
You gotta knock one out for Sara and Dierdre ❤

Aptera will possibly be the star of CES!

Well Deirdre Bosa is very consistent; Consistently wrong.

AI toasters? They will be mainly used to keep company and cheer up ... the unemployed 😮
