also just a note- the English version of 'Loonatic' is the "official version." it was originally written and released in English so that is the canon version. you can tell when comparing both- the English lyrics fit to the music much better with the syncopation and choice of words when compared to the Korean version
What's the source for this? As an Orbit that was around during the pre-debut project era, that doesn't make sense, the timeline doesn't support that. The first release of Loonatic (that was composed and written by G-High of Monotree) was in the original OEC Mix & Match EP mini album released in Korea on September 21 2017. The english version was released later as a digital single for fans outside Korea and got an official lyric video in the loonatheworld channel on October 23 2017, it was also included in the limited version of Max & Match that came out on October 31 2017 as the 9th track alongside the korean version which was the 5th track. So, unless I'm missing key parts of the history or I'm just misunderstanding, how is the english lyrics the original?
My favorite group all time in all of music, not just Kpop. And as you can tell by my avatar, my favorite sub-unit. Loona was revolutionary and every label has tried to emulate some aspects of the model and feel. From NMixx to Kiss of Life. Both great groups. I love them both. They have taken from Loona. So many have. Loona new music is FIRE. From the OEC new album, to Loosemble and Chuu. I love it all and will forever be a fan. We are all waiting for Yves debut. #Stanloona forever!
Max&Match is probably the best kpop album of all time!! Glad you mentioned OnlyOneOf, I wish you would react to them, specially if you like kr&b, their b-sides are immaculate
One of my first k-pop albums that immersed me into the k-pop universe. It took me awhile to get it as a outsider of the k-pop scene back then. Now I'm glad to be a fan of k-pop through OEC/Loona and Dreamcatcher for the most part. The nostalgia of Sweet Crazy Love is unmatched. Saw them live as well
This definitely deserves the best kpop album of all time. Way ahead of its release, that’s why it became the blueprint of most kpop music. It still sounds fresh in 2024
Loona still has one of the best music catalogs i've ever heard.. and just in kpop, but in all music in general. No misses at all, even their later stuff that isn't my favorite but still better than what 99% of other groups are putting out edit: "im only on track 3 and im almost close to tears" bro i felt the same way first time i listened to this discography.. Loona is like my ideal- my idea of what perfect music is, blending almost all of my favorite elements. I highly recommend watching Fifi Zappa's playlist discovering Loona over the course of a year. She feels the same way and is super expressive when listening to these songs for the first time. Definitely worth the watch.
10:37 the oec solos all happened before the unit music, but loona is known for their lore so in their timeline sweet crazy love happened BEFORE eclipse! 20:22 yeah we call them loona! their korean name translates to girl of the month but yeah we usually call them loona or affectionately moon girls, and the shortcut of their korean name is idalso (idalui sonyeo) 23:45 yeah funnily enough she CAN teleport in the lore... each girl has a superpower so kim lip has super speed and choerry interdimentional travel (through mirrors) or something like that

The girls are the embodiment of 3 concepts, Time (Kim lip the owl) she can Time travel. dimension (Jinsoul the fish) she can teleport. Choerry Is a abducted girl from Loona 1/3 earth AND Made the brickbone of the group. Conecting in the Mirror the group with her other selves (multidimensional travel)
