No matter WHAT HOTAS you use, the EXTENSION does the trick for all modules. Compare the virtual stick lenght and how it moves with your own extension and movement.
I'm in the Gazelle for few days now with about 35cm between grip and stickbase. The only aircraft which needs to lower the saturation a little, but no curve at all in no module!!!

My desk looks similar. It's a cheapo $40 office desk that still holds together fine after 15 years as I've reinforced it by welding some all-thread rod to it. I've rounded the edges of it where my wrists lay against it while typing with a file and sandpaper. I wouldn't trade it for an expensive desk if I could.

Don't know if anyone else said this, and it's way late after this video, but...
Isn't that thumbstick hat at the side just assembled the wrong way around? The small nothc should be pointed towards the stick. Then you would also have a muuuch easier time pushing the thing to the left, because your thumb would get the necessary grip.

Last: not sure what your seating position is reference to your stick....but you can improve you Helicopter flying 10x by having your right wrist resting on your right thigh. otherwise, after flying 6 hours or more..that right arm starts weighing 200 pounds. I just got my winwing f-18 throttle base with detent. I got the orion2 Max and with the F-16 EX. Stick for the extra axis. I would think I would have rather just enjoyed the original f-18 stick as you have. I saw no option for that. But in any case, the hairier jumped yet has one throttle and a secondary where your friction is for your throttle. That is the lever for your air exhaust ports. Believe it or not, yes. I have a real harrier jumps yet flight simulator. That's the only aircraft for the program and it's numbered from 0 to 100 in seconds of 5 as a dash and you'll see 10, 20, 30 etc etc. I was very comfortable at taking off flat top at 45° for that is what those numbers represent. Is the degree of the airjets that control your axis as you fly until your full forward. On a jump ship as we call them in the US 35° is sufficient taking off. It really all depends on your loadout but what I wanted to bring to your attention is that it has one throttle and your stick will control your axis. As far as landing with all axis as far as pitch and roll. But that friction lever is the degrees of your power ports for the harrier jump checks which I just love. I love it! Better than the f-35 B model. To be honest, I really do. Even though it's only subsonic is surely proved itself in the Falklands. The Libra and Taurus is always out of stock so I got the next best thing. But yes, the rocker throttle has a long throw and the stick coming from TM 16000. M. Euro fighter design. That was a very big leap for me and I tried my first formation last night. It was not the best but I believe nobody got into formation. It turned into a melee of Canon fighting. Had a great time. Puma 101st only fly the GRIPEN awesome aircraft turn on a dime with those kennards. I love my f-18 legacy. I wish they had the super hornet. I'm sure that'll be on its way. Puma 101st they stand up Sweden big time gap for me, but it's worth it. It's a whole lot of fun. Thank you for the tutorial. Enjoyed it. I'm very well. Take care 🕊️

I was planning to make a bit of a diy buttonbox cockpit, but the design to 'melt' 10+ different planes together is a bit too much with 80+ functions etc, without taking some propper time for planning. That's how I've set up my warthog and it works very well (I also use forward and back for zoom control, same as you). It will also fix your Harrier mic switch location issue. Cap, I'm a TM Cougar user for 15 years now, I guess I'll never ditch a Cougar, it's a Fighting Falcon 1:1 replica with all switchology mapped as is but I really need a split throttle for all of these nice twin engine fighters. So I'm torn between Warthog and WinWing throttle. Judging by my Cougar experience I really like that true HOTAS feel of it being all metal, I might even be biased by it but seeing all that throttle range of WinWing and many more additional switches it has I might do wrong by going after Warthog throttle. So could You please advise are You more satisfied with WinWing throttle compared to Warthog one? What's your opinion now, which one of these two feels/works better? Best regards mate!

Be careful of the WinWing software as I helped a buddy of mine using VR find The winwing software was using an export.lua file to synchronize the apu on light on the throttle. It was killing his framerate in the CPU frametime. He has alerted them to this issue and has heard back but not fixed yet.

Anyone know if any genuine reviews of this product out there? I've searched and only see those from DCS insiders & sponsored reviews. Anyone who owns the warthog be ideal.

I own this stick personally. The mechanical cam base feels much better and smooth than Thrustmaster's gimbal design, warthog or cougar or T16000. Throttle however idk. IMO if you want a hornet stick just buy their instead of buying warthog base and TM hornet stick

I bought mine used (I think the guy who sold it to me, tried to hustle me, because the F-18 throttle grips weren't working, but when I contacted winwing they sent me replacement parts within a week. And everything works now.) Total cost for the throttle and the stick was $400
