Evergrey - Distance (Guitar Cover)

New Evergrey guitar cover!
From the upcoming album, The Storm Within, the first single and clip: Distance ( • EVERGREY - Distance (2... ).
This song came out two days ago, I listened to it repeatedly and decided to learn and record, after the band itself confirmed the tuning for the song. :D
The solos are far from being great, but... That's what you'll get. lol

Great cover, man! That main riff is very interesting... how that base note is basically a B played by the 3rd digit. That chromatic descend followed by that low A sounds so heavy and mean!

Omg, I thought they played this song with a lower tuning (like a 8-string guitar) but no, they play in drop A (my favorite tuning in 7-string guitar)!

freaking nice dude. great job just before the 2 minute mark where there is that slight change in the riff. great on the solo too. Henrick has posted some tutorials and he gets that "hold" (don't know the technical term) by pulling down on the strings vs up. I found it really interesting. Henrick is an amazing player.

I used my PodXT Live directly into the USB port and recorded right into the DAW.

It's played on a six string, with a specific tuning... I mean, I could learn and play it, but it's kinda messed up to transpose the whole song. Maybe when I get a six string again? ;)
