Hunting fresh water or pot ash ponds? Missing hunting the sandhills some of the best duck hunting in the state

@GoodLifeOutdoorsman pot ash ponds smell like sewer ponds. They stick but man do they hold birds. Me and my buddy's had several big ranches we hunted by Lakeside. We would kill mallards Ruddy widgen pintail

Thanks for watching Tristan , when it comes down to it a lot of it is movement.
Hunting in the middle of the bay out of Maryland in a boat for sea ducks with nothing but water around us and decoys all around us, the only thing that scared them birds off was our movement
It may not have been ideal , but once we pushed into the cat tails you couldn’t see the boat from front nor back only above
