I'm not sure people fully understand what this boat does in its lake version here. It opens up all sorts of inland waters which conventional cruisers cannot access:
    (1) It has internal ballast and a centreboard. With the board up, its draft is... 14.5 inches!
    (2) The main rudder lifts up in shallow water; the inboard motor version here retains a power steering rudder.
    (3) The A-frame at the bow allows easy laying down of the mast (see support at stern) to pass under low bridges in canals between lakes. With a crew, this takes a very few minutes, with the boat under way. The only de-rigging needed is to take the boom off at the the gooseneck.
    (4) In a wind, such boats with surfaces up are prone to being blown around, the bow thruster is then very handy. I have cruised in smaller boats of this type...
    (5) This boat has a fancy folding ladder at the bow, for easy disembarkation with the bow up to shore. Polish lakes typically have a foot or so of water and a shore rising a foot or so above the water. Without easy bow access, one needs to anchor and tie up with the stern to the shore, allowing for easy stepping off, but its more difficult to do that when the propeller cannot be used in the very shallow water at the shoreline. It's much easier to just run the bow up to the shore.
There are other versions, e.g. keel-centreboard or fixed keel. The keel-centreboard has a somewhat larger board-up draft, but still shallow. A smaller TES boat with a keel-centreboard was sailed across the Atlantic a few years ago and into the Amazon. These are very well built boats, with high quality fittings. The best-known North American boat of this type, the McGregor 26 of about 30 years ago (not the sailing powerboat), was far inferior. On the deep Great Lakes, fixed-keel sailboats with fixed masts rule, excluded from the lesser lakes and waterways such as the Kawarthas and Trent Canal. I lived on a keelboat for eight years.
I discovered this boat at a Toronto Boat show around 2009 or so, ambling onto it without reading anything, and stopped at the bow, thinking, "I've seen this before!". Only when I saw the mast-raising frame did I realise it was a Polish lake boat, a type I had at that point chartered a couple of times. I' surprised this type of boat is rare in North America.

Very nice boat but expensive, id rather buy an odin 28 or Nexus 820 that also features high speed motoring in a similar price package specially for a costal boat.

Its a very pretty boat, but:
    a) if you've got a bow thruster, and a shoal draft, you can afford to put that rudder on a skeg. This boats from Canada? They should understand running over fishing gear in the dark. Or in the not dark.
    b) if you ever use the bow thruster on your 28 ft boat where anyone can see you, you will quietly be the laughing stock of the marina, and none of the salty sailor guys will be friends with you.

This is a justin bieber toy 😂 i asked price for a smaller tes yatch in my country. The field rep shocked me with the price.for a 7.2 meter trailerable boat they ask about 50.000 euro without any options and the engine. Trailer was 4200 euro only and they are not joking.
