My friendship break up is fairly new, I meet this girl in my 1st year of Varsity, she approached me and I was happy because I know I’m socially awkward, I can’t make friends to save my life. Fine, she came from a well off family and I was the opposite of her, I had NSFAS and her parents were paying for her and she also had a car. I would get my allowance and I would get us food like all the time and if she wanted to go somewhere and didn’t have something to wear I would use my pick n pay voucher to get her something because I loved her. However, in our third year she started to make excuses when we had to spend time together, but I would see her out with her other friends. With me she would not have money to go out but next weekend when she has money she wouldn’t ask me out, then last year she got her articles at a law firm and I wasn’t so lucky I was so happy for her, on her first day I called to wish well and constantly checked up on her.
We used to make sure that we wish each a happy birthday she has never forgotten not even once, but last year she kept quiet about it, I didn’t ask her until she came and apologised and promised to make it up to me. I am still waiting on her to make it up, I never told her how much she hurt me because I don’t really speak, I just deleted her number and stopped following her on social media and that was it. It used to hurt but now I’m fine, but I wish I had told her how much she hurt me.

Friends like her is exactly why I have none at the moment but it’s awesome to have good people in your corner

I once had A friend we basically became friends because our boyfriends were friends so with me when I love I love …I took her as my little sister always would be there for her in any situation she would find her self in ,even when she lost her baby i felt her pain because we were both pregnant at the same time and took the journey together since mom passed on I’d ask for advice about pregnancy from her we were like this 🤞🏼Yoh I should do a story time on this maybe I’ll heal coz I still get emotional when I think about her ….ever seen someone who u once took as sister and she makes fun of your eye condition on social media?💔 i pray to be able to tell my story oneday coz it eats me up fan🤞🏼

The recent friendship I broke is still very new. It was a long over due break up, toxic friendship. When I met this girl at work she was obese and I helped her with the weight loss journey. I complimented her on the progress and everything else she achieved. I am normally very slim but when I gain weight she is the first one to tell me how fat I look, and after losing the weight she is also the very one to tell me that I'm too skinny now.
Sometimes I braid my own hair and she would comment to people in my presence that my braids may look good but they should look closely to see they are skewed because I did them myself.
She told me that I shouldnt listen to people advising me to buy a house because I can't afford a house in an estate.
It took me a while so see that she is very much comparing herself to me.
She decided she no longer wanted me in her presence and I said Thank you Lord, good ridden!
She is doing everything in her power to win over everyone that I know and what she doesn't realize is that I'm so not bothered and I'm relieved d that I damn well finally cut off the toxic ambilucal cord between us.
I could write a book about this.
She was displaying her insecurities with all that she said
Friendships are very hard, also we should also blame ourselves for over sharing because people don’t view things the way we do.

Am for the story! Honestly , I am praying God a friend that I can count on , that can count on me as well! Just two , not a crowd. I have had bad experiences with friends: one will be a competitor and will always find fault with your achievement, one will be contolling, wanting you to join her in everything bad habit that she is doing. Honestly I am a loner, spending a lot of time on youtube and doing church things and my family!
It’s lonely not having a friend who you really can count on when it comes to support I’m a loner too it hurts but we have to protect our selves ❤️
