Your garage is a masterpiece, but that little building collete has her car in is freaking awesome. Absolutely perfect for a personal builder's shop. Just a little dark
Quantum Mechanics: Immediately after an SR is built, it both needs to be rebuilt, and not rebuilt. Its only after the first event will you know which is true.
I must say… I’ve never smiled or had my mouth wide open in happiness than seeing you rip the 3 rotor… and I’ve never even been interested in rotary powered stuff.. that car is INSANE.
I’m a tech full time, these uploads are honestly more entertaining instead of blowing it up and having dumb question you could’ve answered! Great work bro!
Noticed the bright orange sticker with fyeah haha I don’t know if he’s just busting Tommy’s balls bc tom was drinking it when Adam got to the shop toms shop in ct or if there really is a reason behind it lol
I'm so happy for Collete!! I've been following her 3 rotor build for a long time and know she's put a ton of work into finishing it. I can't wait to she her finally shred that beast!
I love the idea that Adam and Collette are both working on engines that are famous in the interwebs for reliability issues. Proves that with a positive mindset and proper help, not everything popular on the internet is true. You also don't have to prove everyone wrong, it's important to enjoy the build also.
Colete's three rotor is ridiculously loud and I'm not normally a fan of the crazy colored paint but for some reason I absolutely love the colors on that car it just works
my brother works for a lab that studies tinnitus on monkeys. Suicide rates are crazy high for people with severe tinnitus. Always gotta protect your ears when you can.
I've commented this probably at least 10 times in past videos with cooling system issues, get a pressure transducer and a lab scope and connect it to the pressure tester adapter for the radiator and connect an ignition trigger lead to cylinder 1 and you'll see if you have cylinder pressure entering the cooling system. Itll also show you what cylinder its coming from based on firing order. Tons of info out there if you need any other diag tips
I like to think the "SR" is for Schrodinger because as soon SRs are both broken and not broken at the same time but the only way to find out is to open it lol
Went to my first drift event and saw my dream car!! I had to go see it and asked if I could do a ride along and he said yes!! It's just got me even more addicted to cars and I can't wait to go to another one!
I had an issue like this once in my Toyota supra and I had a porous spot in the cylinder head that exhaust gas was getting into the coolant system they had to grind out the spot in the cylinder head and weld it and re-machine it
If you want to know if a headgasket is defect in to the cooling system is to use a exhaust gas measuring device used by emission check points they measure multiple things in the exhaust gas. One off them is unburned fuel im ppm (particles per million) if you measure more than 30 ppm you know you have a small leak no doubt about it. Iff you have above 250 you have a big leak. This can be measured by not put the probe in the exhaust but hang above the radiator cap. Its my must go for quick check. As a mechanic I have multiple cars come in for a diagnostic quote so a reliable quick check is essential because not everyone let's there car fixed. Less time waisted more money to be earned.
Used an inline radiator cap on my return hose to fix it, after a 1/4 pass it would push some coolant. Later found a baby head gasket leak, was like that for awhile I'd just add coolant.
dude to use leakdown tester properly plug the air hose in but leave the output side (that goes to the cylinder) off and adjust the reg till the needle points to "set" then plug in the output side. it will give you a more accurate gauge on weather its good or not.
dont make fun of her she's taking care of herself you can experience hearing loss listening to something at 70db on a daily basis.... you should be taking notes! :P
I think you should look at stocking better selection of hose clamps in your shop. You can get stainless HP fuel clamps, constant pressure clamps, spring clamps, etc. The worm gear clamps are bothersome to my eyes. :D
Hey Adam, love the content. My girlfriend got a 2007 Mini Cooper S in June this year and is looking to lower it. Told her BC Racing and we’re going to order a set of coil overs from you guys. Hope it supports the channel!!
5:29 man I freaking love this, watching you dig around an sr20 again was the nostalgia everyone needs! I also appreciate your thought process and explaining what your thinking. 👌

YOU NEED A ROTOR DRIFT CAR NOW ADAM. This is like watching 4 strokes at the motocross track, and suddenly comes one 2 stroke and you start to smile
I’m so glad he at least has one now. Even though he’s not planning on drifting it, I’m hype that he at least has one.
That rear mount rad with no firewall gave me anxiety, sounds sick tho
The rotary will leak all of the fluid before it can explode lol but yes that’s so fucking dangerous
Especially after the dude at the Cletus event got doused.
@@SaveTheDung yeah but that wasn’t a rotar….. errrrr nm
100% needs that rear firewall
On one of her IG stories, they were putting the firewall in it. No way it would pass tech at an event without one.
If you do a leakdown WITH the radiator pressure tester on, you can see EXACTLY how much pressure is going into the cooling system...
Big 🧠
dude, You need donald trump odviously.. Quit being a negative Nancy

Very happy to see Collette's rx7 drifting
who else noticed "FYEAH" on the can adam was drinking haha
Is tommy gonna do something big?

Of course it was Mike that helped fit the gold 03s on the green S15, when's a stance/vip build coming adam? LZ Divine collab.
Hopefully never.
He would never drive it and also nobody gives a shit about stance cars
His white jzx is a bit stancey
You have a ton of patience, i would be done after all of those problems with the sr i would just give up good on you for preservering
Trevor's a cool guy. Sub his channel if you haven't already. The green car looks great so far. Just have to work the bugs out.
Gotta love the reliability of an sr
lmfao, don't bully sr's, lol
I love your explanation of how the too loud rotary sounds😂

That triple rotor is a beast. Plus don't damage your ears. Get a set of moulded ear plugs. I used them for shooting and they are awesome.

Isn't it crazy? that today is more exciting seeing a car with the correct make/brand engine than another LS swapped car.. 🤣
Shout out to simplicity
For real. Idk how anyone gets excited for swaps when its always been done.
That s15 is gonna be the perfect street car when it’s all sorted out🤟 maybe have a little spray on the street for extra fun 😂
Tht 3 rotor sounds sick
You guys are young and so it's easy to not care, but I would try to avoid getting tinnitus if you can (ear protection).
A 2000 pair pack of 3m ear protection is only like $400. Still a hell of a lot cheaper than the medical bills
my brother works for a lab that studies tinnitus on monkeys. Suicide rates are crazy high for people with severe tinnitus. Always gotta protect your ears when you can.
The fact that you can drift at all with your knees in your chest is amazing , the fact that you made it look easy is ridiculous 👌
You're a full blown master tech now, Adam! Very proud of your progress
15:25 Blue Steel is one if my favorite royalty free songs.
To think Collette's fc is on low boost for break in. It's going to be really fast
Good one Trevor . Top guy !
Not only is the SR the best engine, its also the best content from Adam.

The best broken engines
best content since it always breaks?

ive posted the same comment almost verbatim multiple times, this is entertainment tho and yohan is overworked
Explaining the engine issues u faced/facing will never be redundant.

Nice too see some love for Trevor
Collettes car looks super torquey that’s sick
For the speaker mount, use a dremel. Had to do the same thing with my car yesterday.
Only thing that belonged on that new head gasket was some copper spray
adam demanding tacos XD probs for compensation of collete getting his nice floor all dirty with sailor 7 XD
Motionauto is a real homie for lending that car. Real shit.
