Brezza ZXI is around 12.7 lakh onroad in HP, and I am getting Curvv creative at 13.4 onroad ! Just by paying 70000/- I am getting turbo petrol, better handle and comfort and safety as well! Not to mention 500 ltr boot as compared to 328 ltr and arm rest ! 17 inches alloys,4+4 speakers ,bigger infotainment system,design is way above it's segment! But one thing I know is, reliability, mileage and power will be compromised with 1.2 ltr revetron petrol !

Indian traffic condition me aur khaas kar Mountains me lower end torque chahiye jo ki brezza ka 1.5L NA easily deta hai. Tata ki gaadi sirf faltu log lete hai.

I had 5 second hand cars, like TATA Safari, TATA SAFARI Storme, Fiat Punto, Maruti Swift, Ford Ecosport. I miss every single car except the Swift, which was a practical choice and still it was not returning the mileage I was expecting and I ended up selling it within 5 months ( it might be having some issues with the engine in that particular car ). This is the first new car I bought after 10 years of owning car, which is TATA PUNCH Creative DT with Sunroof. Sunroof was accidentally purchased as no top models were coming then without Sunroof, and I hardly use it. But rest of the car is pretty solid for last 1 year. My brother in law has bought an Hyundai exter and I drove it as well. I did not like it. Although it is my personal opinion, but getting in and out is like a hatchback, as it is basically a grand i10 underneath. Even after driving Ecosport for 3 years, I can say that Punch is giving me every thing which I was getting in ecosport. Only thing I am missing is the diesel turbo kick from that vehicle. Ecosport was a monster on road, but Punch is sedate. You need to be a good driver to take out the full potential from Punch while driving it on highways and even that I am enjoying a lot. Niggles I found that the instrument cluster was not working properly and I taken it to service centre and it is working fine since then. Moral of the story is it is all about mindset. We get intrigued by listening to the social media. Have some genuine feedback from those who are driving it for real and get your buying decisions. Ofcourse there will be few who are not experiencing it well and they are also genuine, I am not denying the fact. But in my floor, there are 3 TATA owners including me and we all are happy go lucky with our TATAs.

I bought the new safari acc plus after driving a Creta for 4 years. Apart from minor software issues this car is fantastic and far better than Creta . My main concern was safety coz 3 out of 5 passengers in my neighbourhood died in a car accident in a Suzuki. I will never buy cheap unsafe cars coz when it hits you it hits you hard and there is no recovery.

I remember your comparison of exter and punch. You praised exter so much for its engine and many things aganist the punch. You even called exter a safe car, but until now Hyundai did not prooved it. If people go by your views Punch might be the least selling and exter the top one now. But it happens vice-versa. Most people value their family members safety and comfort rather than small advantage in out right performance. Only a small percent of people who doesnt care about their family and public want to go after enthusiasm. In real world, tata engines are better than others in mid range which helps keep up with other cars with ease. Unless you pull it towards its top end , the advantage stays with tata. And for mileage, it is too early to say about the mileage. By my experience the true mileage will be much better after its oil change. My friend tells me the gdi pulls from 20 to more than 120 in 3rd without any protest.Who is looking into rpm for engine response? I know why you say like that, anyway mentioning gear and speed is more appropriate to understand the engine response. May be we can compare with other cars.
@AutoYogi If you can suggest Tata something, please share with them that the touch panel with all important functions - hazard light, AC ON/OFF, boot opener must be given with physical buttons. I have Harrier Fearless Plus model that I purchased in November 2023, touch buttons stop working randomly and is a recurring issue.

A monocoque SUV will always be more comfortable for city and highway runs. The Roxx, being body-on-frame, will give you a bouncier ride. If you’re used to driving such an SUV, you can go for it. If not, look for monocoque options, which are plentiful. I won’t recommend the Curvv diesel DCA just yet. Let’s wait a bit to assess its reliability. Is the Mahindra XUV700 also under consideration? You might not get the top-end variant, but a well-equipped mid-variant.

I, on the other hand have been ranting for the last 3-4 yrs to upgrade and now that i am capable of buying a car i am willing to go for one. We as an extended family have always bought the top end varients with full payment on the go, i am not sure how financially correct is that, but that is the reason why 700 is out of picture for me. Tata does offer newer models with Safety & attractive Pricing but would never ever buy their Cars as they offer poor Engine Refinements, Pathetic After Sales Services hence poor Reliability & worst Ownership Experience. All said & done I want Peace of mind Ownership and that's what Tata Cars aren't going to offer. Instead would buy India's most trusted & Reliable Cars than Tata Cars which after sometimes becomes very Service Stn friendly. It becomes a regular visitor, stay there longer than on road or with owners. 1st lesson incase if you want to buy them. Never ever buy TATA CARS at the launch wait for atleast 2 years before they iron out all defects, issues & problems from customer feedbacks.
Basalt may not be better overall package...but it has got a better engine, transmission, rear seat comfort and suspension set up than Tata Curvv for sure and this is what matters for most people when making a decision. If choosing a car by its mechanicals then Basalt is a clear winner between the two.

In real world, tata engines are better than others in mid range which helps keep up with other cars with ease. Unless you pull it towards its top end , the advantage stays with tata. And for mileage, it is too early to say about the mileage. By my experience the true mileage will be much better after its oil change. My friend tells me the gdi pulls from 20 to more than 120 in 3rd without any protest.Who is looking into rpm for engine response? I know why you say like that, anyway mentioning gear and speed is more appropriate to understand the engine response. May be we can compare with other cars.

@AutoYogi If you can suggest Tata something, please share with them that the touch panel with all important functions - hazard light, AC ON/OFF, boot opener must be given with physical buttons. I have Harrier Fearless Plus model that I purchased in November 2023, touch buttons stop working randomly and is a recurring issue.
I have shared this feedback multiple times. But looks like they want to stick to this touch based panel.

No, this one is Tata’s own. Fiat doesn’t make a 1.5 diesel, they are only producing 2.0L Multijet that goes into Harrier, Safari, Hector, Compass etc.

A monocoque SUV will always be more comfortable for city and highway runs. The Roxx, being body-on-frame, will give you a bouncier ride. If you’re used to driving such an SUV, you can go for it. If not, look for monocoque options, which are plentiful. I won’t recommend the Curvv diesel DCA just yet. Let’s wait a bit to assess its reliability. Is the Mahindra XUV700 also under consideration? You might not get the top-end variant, but a well-equipped mid-variant.
@@ICN We have been driving a santro xing for the last 15 yrs. My father loves that machine. I, on the other hand have been ranting for the last 3-4 yrs to upgrade and now that i am capable of buying a car i am willing to go for one. We as an extended family have always bought the top end varients with full payment on the go, i am not sure how financially correct is that, but that is the reason why 700 is out of picture for me. Tata does offer newer models with Safety & attractive Pricing but would never ever buy their Cars as they offer poor Engine Refinements, Pathetic After Sales Services hence poor Reliability & worst Ownership Experience.
All said & done I want Peace of mind Ownership and that's what Tata Cars aren't going to offer.
Instead would buy India's most trusted & Reliable Cars than Tata Cars which after sometimes becomes very Service Stn friendly.
It becomes a regular visitor, stay there longer than on road or with owners.
1st lesson incase if you want to buy them. Never ever buy TATA CARS at the launch wait for atleast 2 years before they iron out all defects, issues & problems from customer feedbacks.

Basalt may not be better overall package...but it has got a better engine, transmission, rear seat comfort and suspension set up than Tata Curvv for sure and this is what matters for most people when making a decision.
If choosing a car by its mechanicals then Basalt is a clear winner between the two.
