I was Born in '95' and my mother had me when she was 19, she burned what are now trance-techno classics to a handful of Cd-Rs in the days of napster and kazaa, which she would play and BLAST in the main area of the house around when i was like ages 5 through about 11, it was her 'workout' / 'intense dancing' while cleaning soundtrack. I still have several of those Cds. I always remembered hearing fast-paced pulsing nnce-nnce-nnce and running out into the living room to see aerobics or fast-cleaning! I would join and do jumping-jacks or land on my knees and and furiously pick bits of cereal off the rug! Good times!

In the middle of the 90ies every pub played these songs loudly, Techno and Eurodance where everywhere. So that's the reason, why I still love them -it reminds me of my childhood. It was different, we were free and there where no cellphones (for the children), we had only a little money for the public telephones in our pockets and spend the most time outside playing with our friends...
The 90s was such a happier time. Sometimes I wish we had kept going without ever inventing the internet or cellphones. Life was close to perfect in 1980 and 1990. It was perfect human life in many places.
