Thanks Jeffrey, I used to have specific thickness measurements for scales but now i make them as it happens, depending on the razor and the material ..
Nice brace of wb blades. The Elliot is beautiful with scales, but has given you the run around and is still doing so. Hope it works out with it. Superb craftsmanship on the strop paddle, have a good break, as best we can lol. Be safe Joseph.
Cheers Roy, that Elliot is a different one..The other one is abandoned somewhere, the steel is naff...Thanks for the compliments ..Have a great weekend yourself..
I started watching your video while in the waiting room. Another guy asked about your video so I gave him my card with your info on it...you owe me....haha..I'll be back to watch but those scales you produced are stunning...
Hello Joseph, I am a follower of your great videos, your edges are very good, I am also fond of classic shaving, I really like English razors, at the moment I have 3 razors, one Joseph Rodgers &sons, Joseph Allen & sons and the last one Wade & Butchers Barbers Rattler, of this last razor there is a little information. Kind regards from Spain.
Hi Jose, thanks for watching and for the kind words..That is a very nice razor but for some reason it is not what we normally consider a rattler .Normally a "Rattler" is a "Faux Frameback"..I also think that the word "Barbers" is only used on larger razors. It sounds like you have three nice razors..
Dig your Easter Bunny, I mean your paddle strop. The leather looks sweet. Did you fabricate the handle yourself? Sounds like you're a man for all seasons, building restoration expert, carpenter, leather worker, straight razor restoration and motorbike dare devil..your travel kit came out top notch...good work brother..
Thank you Sir, That paddle was bought but i have been making them...Those treats belong to my other half but she says they are for display only , i spent most days begging for a piece..Thanks..
Really amazing restorations! I love the slightly thicker scales...
Thanks Jeffrey,
