Game looks pretty good. Seems to have a pretty forgiving pity system with no 50/50 (from what I can see).
Yes! The only "problem" is that character dupes are quite important. In genhsin terms, you dont have the full kit until like "constellation 4"
Yep, but pity is alot less, theres no 50/50 and you can get some characters from multiple sources, so it's not that bad imo.@@astsophia

I used to play AFK arena, which is the previous game of the devs of AFK journey, so it’s really cool to see some of those characters in this new game with new graphics and models.
If you look at the ball when he got the 10k gems it had like a rainbow aura around it
What I cannot get over is the signature AFK Progression Wall where after about 1-2 hours tops you just run out of ways to progress with your team just dying to the current strongest mobs no matter what you do and you can literally strip the map of all playable content and still not be able to push through. Then you login after X hours and breeze X more levels until you brick again.
That made me drop AFK Arena, Mobile Legends Arena and a whole bunch of other idle style gachas and it's driven me out of AFK Journey. Some dev really needs to figure out a different way to make a 'no grinding' gacha.
Everyone who found this mechanic to be some kind of mindblowing revelation, please tell me - what is so great about it?
I've rerolled 5 accounts, and stuck with 2, one I spent a little on (gazette passes and progress pack only) and I have NEVER gotten an early S rank.. I've had to go to pity every time, and never gotten crystals from that banner... Considering how hard AFK Journey has gone after Content Creators, I'm starting to think there are some shenanigans there lol, I don't know of ANYONE outside of streamers/CCs that have gotten early pulls, no one in either of my active guilds have ever gotten one either. I do find the game fun enough and still stick with it but the roll rates are a total lie.
I got quite a few early S ranks, very very feasible :)
btw, if anyone's intertested on the game I'd recomend starting asap. I don't mean to trigger anyone's FOMO but the longer you take to create an account the harder it is to get to the level of day one players/whales, and that stuff matters in a game like afk journey. for example, on afk arena (journey's older sibling), it's almost impossible to start an account nowadays and have a decent experience, unless you're ok with always being behind all other players on your server, not being able to get into a guild, suffering on pvp and quite literally never catching up with the newer updates. the game is INSANELY complicated for newer players and even if the gacha is super forgiving, it doesn't really matter if you'd have to grind for 3+ years before even being able to tickle one of the server's top player's current progression. journey seems to be following the same steps, with an already decent late game progession for characters and battles soooo... don't get too into it if you're not invested and ready to play for a very, VERY long time (or spend money to get there lol)
There are constantly starting new servers, so whenever a new player starts, they'll be competing against people who started at the same time or later. Unless they spesifically select an older server, but the newest one is always the default choice.
So there's no need to FOMO about missing the leaderboards.
@@querri4144 you mean on arena or journey? because I haven't played arena for a while now, but I remember that around the time when I left most people were quitting exactly because of what I said. maybe that's when they started creating new servers tho.
They're talking about afk journey. New servers are created regularly and you are matched with players who started around the same time as you. So you wont fall behind. You can of course select older servers to play on but you'll be severely behind and selecting a newer server allows you to get higher rankings in leaderboards for more and better rewards@@starlightzz_

BUT the promo codes could expire any day and you'll get less opportunity to reroll for best character quickly without the 4k diamonds early

I really like this game, easy and don't have to put any real brain power behind it. and nice gacha!! I got Scarlita in my 3rd of 4th pull.
high-key actually recommend the game, very forgiving, pretty visuals and low-effort to do dailies
So is single pull higher chance of getting Reinier then if u do 10 pulls? It doesn’t make sense why that would be the case
