From what I understand, here's how the fight works: Phase 1 and Phase 2 are actually two different NPCs. While you're battling Phase 1, Phase 2 is already loaded out of bounds, positioned behind that staircase at the edge of the arena. When you defeat Phase 1, Phase 2 is teleported from its hidden location to the center of the arena. If Phase 2 can't find any enemies to attack, it tries to return to its original position behind the staircase, but since that spot is out of bounds, it ends up falling off the map and dying.

Then i went again with my lvl 9 samurai. I managed to beat Gaius, Mesmer, Romina, the sunflower, even frikkin Bayle. But Radahn - after like 15h i finally got grasp of phase 1, but phase 2...maaan, maybe one day I'll learn how to parry, but for now i just want to rest

Eh, there are plenty of setup that can kill bosses so quickly or safely (or even script the kills) that they easily count as cheese. This is on a whole other level, though.

A few notes to add: - This does not work if you are entering the arena for the first time and a cut scene plays. - It also doesn't work if you wear the Black Knife set, for example. You have to wear the Traveler's set and use Unseen Magic. - Crashing into the rubble or walking too far from the wall does alert Radahn. He immediate flew over to swat me. - Just in case, cast Unseen Magic and use Assassin's Gambit often. - If you don't have Assassin's Gambit, go back to Volcano Manor and visit Bernahl or his sword to purchase the AOW. - If you have already crafted other hefty pots and can't find any more pots, just use (throw) the number of pots you need, and you'll be able to use the empty pots to craft the poison or rot hefty pots.

I had the time to git gud but I still appreciate these funny methods. They are quite a good laugh to watch. took me 15 hours of solid grinding to beat radahn lol. No bleed, no summons etc... Whilst the feeling was absolutely euphoric when I killed him is not for everyone.
Honestly these exploits dont really hurt the game in the long run so I dont see a problem that needs "fixing" Dark Souls let you shoot manus through the abyss with a bow and arrow, still awarded "Ultimate Video Game of all time" Bloodborne let you break boss A.I. like Shadows, Amelia, Ludwig, and the Orphan of Kos, yet still most of the fanbase herald it as the best Souls game ever made Dark Souls 3 has a litany of boss easy cheese exploits, from dancer to midir, still considered peak of the trilogy Sekiro let you drop the demon of hatred off a cliff and win instantly, still viewed as a well polished GOTY masterpiece. Exploits like these have never harmed the games as a whole and only ever provided an out for people who were probably never going to enjoy the fights in the first place but still want to experience and the content and tell their own personal story through it.

Thank you. Still works as of today. I never got poison to land, so I needed a 2nd Rot pot. I also had to do it a few times. He sometimes transitioned and then did the Holy fire thing, ending me.

Yeah no just tried lamenting visage with unseen form and when the effect wears off you get absolutely rocked instantly no matter where he is in the arena. Without assasins gambit this does not work

Took a couple tries because my aim is shit, but finally made it to phase 2. He fully disappeared like 5 minutes ago but that fight music is still playing 😅

@@CaptainSkylocke Sure, but look: I do not believe anyone who makes it all the way to Consort Radahn is going to use this method without at least trying to fight him properly. This is for when you're fed up with losing over and over and just want to guy dead so you can collect his gear and move on with your life. Because some of us play games to have fun, and losing to the same boss a dozen times in a row isn't fun. It's frustrating and stressful and bad for our blood pressure. I'm all for a good challenge, but I also reserve my right to decide when it's no longer worth my time and effort. I played all three Dark Souls games multiple times each, including all DLCs, and I beat all the bosses fair and square _except_ for the Twin Princes in DS3 whom I cheesed with no remorse because I genuinely didn't like fighting them. Fighting Slave Knight Gael was actually fun, the Twin Princes weren't. (Also Sister Friede, whom I would probably have cheesed if I knew a way to do so because beating her normally really didn't feel worth it.) Now, admittedly, I haven't fought Consort Radahn more than a couple of times and I'm willing to give it a few more tries. But if I still think it feels hopeless and I'm not enjoying myself, he's totally getting cheesed and I won't feel bad about it at all. It's just nice to have a Plan B, you know?
@@CaptainSkylocke I have never cheesed Fromsoft bosses, have beaten their games multiple times, and I’d rather fight Bayle than cheese him. Consort Radahn is a dumb boss, all I wanted was Thiollier and Ansbach’s gear and I guess Miquella’s incantation. The swords are garbage and the boss is just an overtuned asset flip.
It's funny, for the last few days I've been helping people with the NPC fight right before Radahn. After the fight, we then ride the elevator only to have Radahn commit suicide as we're climbing the stairs to the boss door.
It's the exact angle that it difficult here. It's easier if you remain a couple of steps back , make sur that the orientation is exactly the same as is shown on the video, them move forward, look up, almost to your limit and then throw.... The compass is what helped me the most... But you have to be in the direction before moving forward, if not it's very difficult to obtain the correct position. Finally, finally he is finished..
everything (eventually, after 3 tries) went exactly to plan, except at the very end. He wouldn't die! He just kept walking back to that NW wall he emerges from, blinking in and out, semi-transparent. After 10 minutes, I left and made a cup of tea, and when I got back, he was still doing his thing - walking off into the sunset, kinda. Did they fix this cheese???? So, I made a decision to reconceal myself, which breaks the mimic veil illusion. Fortunately, he did not notice and kept walking away. I had a few pots left over I was going to test if I could reapply poison/rot. As I ran back to the front wall, he died! It worked! IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! :D TY, TY, TYVM! 😄
Guys this cheese hasn’t been fully patched just do everything as normal until phase 2 and when he starts walking back the first time he sort of fades out start running back then when his holy beam starts charging hold out a Sheild and turn around and run in that direction then go to the left side of the stairs looking thing on the left wall side of the middle part and just keep blocking all his attacks until he died
the idea of Radahn seeing an out-of-place statue and going "eh, nothing wrong here" is hysterically funny

Yes, I just tested it. It worked for me on NG+2.
I went in with only 2 of each pots. Poison didn't proc for me but I pulled it off with the 2nd rot pot after the first rot wore off.

You can stick your already crafted pots in storage at a grace. This frees up empty pots, and no need to throw any away!

Still works as of today. I never got poison to land, so I needed a 2nd Rot pot.
I also had to do it a few times. He sometimes transitioned and then did the Holy fire thing, ending me.

Yeah no just tried lamenting visage with unseen form and when the effect wears off you get absolutely rocked instantly no matter where he is in the arena. Without assasins gambit this does not work

😂 I can't believe this works. So crazy. As someone else stated. 2 poison pots and 1 rot pot wasn't enough for me. Wasn't taking his health down enough. Threw 3 poison and 1 rot pot on NG+2. Worked like a charm.
Yeah, the 1 rot pot and 2 poison pots is for the first playthrough. Ng+ requires more pots to make it work.

It still works if anyone is wondering just did it now, my issue was throwing the pots because my compass disappears when I enter the arena but I finally got it.
Took a couple tries because my aim is shit, but finally made it to phase 2. He fully disappeared like 5 minutes ago but that fight music is still playing 😅

@@CaptainSkylocke Yes, exactly. That's what a boss cheese is supposed to be. If you're going to have to put effort into it you might as well just, you know, beat the guy normally. The whole point of cheesing a boss is not having to do that.

@@CaptainSkylocke Sure, but look: I do not believe anyone who makes it all the way to Consort Radahn is going to use this method without at least trying to fight him properly. This is for when you're fed up with losing over and over and just want to guy dead so you can collect his gear and move on with your life. Because some of us play games to have fun, and losing to the same boss a dozen times in a row isn't fun. It's frustrating and stressful and bad for our blood pressure.
I'm all for a good challenge, but I also reserve my right to decide when it's no longer worth my time and effort. I played all three Dark Souls games multiple times each, including all DLCs, and I beat all the bosses fair and square _except_ for the Twin Princes in DS3 whom I cheesed with no remorse because I genuinely didn't like fighting them. Fighting Slave Knight Gael was actually fun, the Twin Princes weren't.
(Also Sister Friede, whom I would probably have cheesed if I knew a way to do so because beating her normally really didn't feel worth it.)
Now, admittedly, I haven't fought Consort Radahn more than a couple of times and I'm willing to give it a few more tries. But if I still think it feels hopeless and I'm not enjoying myself, he's totally getting cheesed and I won't feel bad about it at all. It's just nice to have a Plan B, you know?
@@CaptainSkylocke I have never cheesed Fromsoft bosses, have beaten their games multiple times, and I’d rather fight Bayle than cheese him.
Consort Radahn is a dumb boss, all I wanted was Thiollier and Ansbach’s gear and I guess Miquella’s incantation. The swords are garbage and the boss is just an overtuned asset flip.

It's funny, for the last few days I've been helping people with the NPC fight right before Radahn. After the fight, we then ride the elevator only to have Radahn commit suicide as we're climbing the stairs to the boss door.

It's the exact angle that it difficult here. It's easier if you remain a couple of steps back , make sur that the orientation is exactly the same as is shown on the video, them move forward, look up, almost to your limit and then throw....
The compass is what helped me the most... But you have to be in the direction before moving forward, if not it's very difficult to obtain the correct position.
Finally, finally he is finished..
everything (eventually, after 3 tries) went exactly to plan, except at the very end. He wouldn't die! He just kept walking back to that NW wall he emerges from, blinking in and out, semi-transparent. After 10 minutes, I left and made a cup of tea, and when I got back, he was still doing his thing - walking off into the sunset, kinda. Did they fix this cheese???? So, I made a decision to reconceal myself, which breaks the mimic veil illusion. Fortunately, he did not notice and kept walking away. I had a few pots left over I was going to test if I could reapply poison/rot. As I ran back to the front wall, he died! It worked! IT WAS SOOO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! :D TY, TY, TYVM! 😄

Guys this cheese hasn’t been fully patched just do everything as normal until phase 2 and when he starts walking back the first time he sort of fades out start running back then when his holy beam starts charging hold out a Sheild and turn around and run in that direction then go to the left side of the stairs looking thing on the left wall side of the middle part and just keep blocking all his attacks until he died
