Je vetë lulja në saksi,
Ti je hana, yjtë e dielli
Je ti nuri, je vetë qielli.
Nurin tënd kudo shikoj
Në ç’do zë ty të dëgjoj.
Në çdo lule gjindesh ti
N'çdo petale erë t'kam ni.
Të kam ni në ç’do zymbyl,
T'kam nigju në ç’do bylbyl,
Era jote jaseminë,
Falma falma bukurinë.
Bukurinë që ke kriju
Gjithësinë e ka mulu,
I ke dhonë erë trandofilit
I ke dhonë dhe zë bilbilit.
Pra ka hak me knu bilblli
E me çelun trandofili
Për me thonë se n'kë dynja,
Vetëm Ti je, tjetër s'ka.

The light of my eyes art thee
the flower in the pot art thee

In every hyacinth I've scented thee

The beauty Thou did originate
the cosmos has been covered by it

مُـذ عـصـفَـت سـاعـةُ الرحـيـل
يــا جــيـرةً خـلّفـت عـيـونـي
تـجـري عـلى خـدّي كـالعُـيون
خـيَّبـتموا في الهوى ظنوني
مــا هـكـذا كـانـت الظـنـون
مـنّـوا ولا تـطـلُبوا منوني
فــإنَّ هــجــرانَــكُــم مــنــون
وجــمــلوا الدار بـالرجـوع
وبـــردوا لوعـــةَ العــليــل
وسـامِـحـوا الطـرفَ بالهجوعِ
وقــصّــروا ليــليَ الطــويــل
واللَه واللَه مــا ســقـانـي
كــاس الردى غــيـرُ هـجـرِكـم
أفـنـيـتُ فـي حـبّـكُـم زمـاني
ومـــا وفّـــيـــتُ بـــوَعــدِكــم
عـنـدي من الشوق ما كفاني
فـــلا تـــزيــدوا بــصــدّكُــم
فـرَّقـتموا في الهوى جموعي
وســؤتـمـوا صـحـبَـة الدليـل
ومــا نـظَـرتُـم إلى خـضـوعـي
