I think the way Google have done it is much better in my opinion compared to Sony too. Google are offering lots of controls but still making it pretty user friendly, I've tested a couple of Xperias the last couple years and I've not really enjoyed shooting with them that much 🤔
I just wish they brought back manual control over HDR+ I remember on my pixel 3 being able to toggle it on and off for photos that I have more time for versus quick shots. I miss that.
Could you compare dynamic range in 12mp and 50mp mode? I wonder if 50mp mode uses the same HDR+ pipeline as 12mp mode. Also, iPhone 15 has 28mm and 35mm presets that are digital crops but still pretty good quality nonetheless. Could you see how Pixel performs with some digital zoom simulating 28mm/35mm focal length?

Manual mode on a Google Pixel phone. Something I've been wanting since the Pixel line came out. Plus with the focus magnifier feature it's really impressive. Sony and Samsung definitely have a more professional looking interface but this is so good for Pixel and I for one would love to use that feature from time to time. No pro mode for video but I feel like that's something they could feature drop later on. Well done Google and the audio eraser feature works as advertised. Wow.

Whether you like it or not, that's the direction all the tech companies are now heading towards. Hello sir, I have pre ordered Google pixel 8 in india. A bit confused whether i should go with pixel 8 or go with iphone 14 plus as I have heard a lot of heating issues about it pixel Please help.
Good evening friend,Not even the iPhone 15 with a better processor can beat the Pixel 8, I tested the pixels and didn't notice any thermal problems,I'm not even going to compare it with the 14, but with the 15 to be fair, to begin with, this depends a lot on the operating system you like the most, for example I don't have a preference for iOS or Android, I like both, the only flaw for me was the very short update time that Android smartphones had , but now Google has surprised everyone with 7 years of updates, now about the entry-level iPhone 15 I can categorically tell you it's not worth it, both the normal and the plus, the iPhone that's worth it is the Pro or Pro Max, at least but my opinion, but let's go, starting with the screen, the 2 devices have slightly different screens despite both being OLED, the resolution and contrast of the iPhone 15 is slightly better, in terms of brightness they both have similar nits so it won't be a problem none of them, but the problem comes now, even though we are in 2023 and the iPhone costs $800, its screen is still 60 hz, which is very bad and pathetic, the Pixel 8's screen, despite not being LTPO, still has a 120 Hz screen, so the fluidity on the screen will be much more fluid in apps and games than on the iPhone, in terms of cameras, the main Isocell GNV sensor of the Pixel 8 is the same as the Pixel 8 Pro model that came to compete with the cameras of the iPhones Pro, so I don't even need to say which is better, since the main sensor of the normal iPhone 15 is inferior to that of the 15 pro and pro max, as for the Ultra Wide camera I tested both and didn't see much difference in quality, both do good images, but when you use this pixel 8 sensor with AI, this changes everything, so in terms of cameras, the Google smartphone has a wide advantage. In terms of processors, both have similar performance, with the Apple a16 doing better on geekbench and the Google tensor G3 doing better on Antutu, but even so I believe that the Apple one is a little more optimized for Ios, the Gpu I won't go into details so the text doesn't get even bigger, but both devices ran all the apps and games in their stores, in terms of battery we still don't have information about the Pixels, but the iPhone 15's is good and lasts all day, and to talk about the price, the Pixel 8 is 100$ cheaper than the iPhone 15 vem

unfortunately not my friend, Google has already announced that these AI features will only be available with the new tensor g3 processors of the 8 and 8 Pro
Google doesn't comment on the names of the sensors, but at least the main thing I can answer is that the previous generations of Pixels, the 6 and 6 Pro version, and the 7 and 7 Pro, used the same Samsung sensor called Isocell GN1 , so everyone was hoping that Google was going to launch Samsung's GN2 sensor for the new Pixels, so when Google announced the Pixels 8, it said that the main sensor could capture 21% more light, so almost everyone believed that it was really of the new GN2 sensor, but after some users received the Pixels for testing, they noticed that everyone was wrong, this was reported by the website XDA-Developers, that it was actually a sensor that very few knew about, the ISOCELL GNV, and that Samsung itself had never commented on anything about it, but we know that this sensor exists due to the fact that it has already been found in only 1 smartphone, the Vivo x 80 Pro, and now also found in the Pixels 8 and 8 Pro, I hope I was able to clarify your doubt , If you need anything, I'm at your disposal.
the Pixels 7 from the last generation would once have managed to come in 2nd place on DxoMark in terms of camera, even surpassing the iPhone 14 Pro Max, imagine the current version now, you don't need to worry about the Pixels 8 and 8 Pro to make Vlogs . Hope this helps.
Best smartphone 2023 ,much better screen, much more 2400 peak nits, and 1400 of HDR, which comes down to much more visibility outdoors and indoors too, with Google itself announcing that the Pixel 8 Pro screen will be brighter outdoors than the old champion in this regard is the Iphone 15 pro max, the improved cameras and Al features that version 7 will not receive even after the update, Moreira has increased RAM on both devices, the Tensor g3 processor is much more efficient with more performance in relation to the H2 of the Pixels 7, I have a video on my channel that is 1 hour long, but I explain everything about the new Pixels 8 and 8 Pro in the smallest details with information that few people know, unfortunately the video is in Portuguese then you will have to activate the subtitles to translate into English. I hope I helped, if you have any questions, feel free to ask.
unfortunately not my friend, Google has already announced that these AI features will only be available with the new tensor g3 processors of the 8 and 8 Pro
Only video boost and night sight for video are happening in cloud and these two features are coming soon and rest of the features that he mentioned in the video are based on tensor g3
the differences between the cameras of the pixel 8 and 8 Pro, is the Ultra Wide camera and the telephoto camera that the pro has, the main 50 MP camera is the same Isocell GNV sensor in the 2 pixels, in other words the quality of the camera main camera will be the same, the biggest difference is in the Ultra Wide camera which was updated by a new 48mp sensor in the Pro model, which I was able to test and the quality is actually higher than the "normal" pixel 8 sensor since it uses the same sensor from last year's Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, which also do a good job, the biggest difference is the 8 Pro's telephoto lens, which despite also having 48mp, the same as the previous generation's Pixel 7 Pro, also received a new sensor and with some significant improvements. If you need it, I have a 1-hour video from my channel explaining everything about the new Pixels in the smallest details, but the video is in Portuguese, so you will have to activate Google subtitles when watching. Hope this helps.
Video boost is a pro only feature where you upload video to the cloud and it'll go through and run machine learning to improve the video. If video is important, pro's the definite go to option

I thought that Magic Editor was a coming soon feature? :0
Magic eraser is a day one feature, other features like video boost and zoom enhance are coming later in feature drops
@@joecoles1310 weird, because it definitely said coming soon in all Google promos. It was even on the Google store until today...
Sir will this feature available in pixel 7 after update 💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟💟
unfortunately not my friend, Google has already announced that these AI features will only be available with the new tensor g3 processors of the 8 and 8 Pro
drop camera review man
That face correction mode stolen from nokia 😂
If the editing is happening on the cloud, is this going to be backward compatible? Looks likely to me
Only video boost and night sight for video are happening in cloud and these two features are coming soon and rest of the features that he mentioned in the video are based on tensor g3

Sir one video on pixel 8 vs 8 pro camera i wanna buy can save some using 8 if the are quite similar 💕💕💕💕💕💕
the differences between the cameras of the pixel 8 and 8 Pro, is the Ultra Wide camera and the telephoto camera that the pro has, the main 50 MP camera is the same Isocell GNV sensor in the 2 pixels, in other words the quality of the camera main camera will be the same, the biggest difference is in the Ultra Wide camera which was updated by a new 48mp sensor in the Pro model, which I was able to test and the quality is actually higher than the "normal" pixel 8 sensor since it uses the same sensor from last year's Pixel 7 and 7 Pro, which also do a good job, the biggest difference is the 8 Pro's telephoto lens, which despite also having 48mp, the same as the previous generation's Pixel 7 Pro, also received a new sensor and with some significant improvements.
Google shut up and take my money
