You have explained to me days of lessons in just few minutes. Keep it up bro
Glad we could help your badminton Luc
It is hard to do when you automatically going to your bad habit during the match. Lmao. Need to do self reminder everytime and that sometimes could lead to slower response. Making a new habit to replace the bad one, is effort. Good luck guys (and myself also. Lmao)
Yes Good Luck. The more good practice you do the more likely and quickly it will be habit for your brain. 😀
Drilling with a coach is important to get that good practice. I not yet able to do that. Improving during a match is not recommended because of the score pressure not to mention if your partner doesnt like your poor play. Just saying.
I never knew this mistake before this vid, thank u for the enlightenment
Afif thanks and glad it helped you.
Another amazing video. Thanks .
Nice video boys... Keep up the good work.

No problem Yogesh hopefully these will help up your level.
thanks your videos are the only good strategy videos Ive found on UA-cam after looking through many great channels. Do you have any tips for developing opponent awareness any drills or something else?

Daryl & Steve,
Thanks for videos. Unfortunately, never interacted with Steve.
Daryl is a very good coach and monster fit person :)
All the best gents and and waiting for more videos. Geetesh
Thanks Geetesh, glad your enjoying the videos. I'm fitter than Daryl haha, don't know if he'd admit that lol.
Great work and important info, thank you. 👏
Glad you found it useful Glyn thanks.
Great explanation! Thanks.
BTW, I'm not sure if that's is on purpose or not but the audio is on only one side (left side). I can hear only BGM on the right side, but the volume is relatively low. Maybe some problem in editing process, I'm not sure. Just so you know.
Thanks for letting me know. The audio recording sounds fine but yeah for some reason the audio right side is quiet. Never happened before but I'll keep an ear out for that next time. Thanks for letting us know, must of happened during editing. Hopefully it's watchful for people though.
@@JacobsBadminton it feels very intimate, like you're whispering into my left ear giving me precious badminton advice
@@piyapolphetmunee3879 That's exactly what we were going for haha
Thank you so much
No problem, glad we could help you out.
Great explain for beginners coach... thanks a lot.... your team... i am from INDIA tamilnadu
Thanks Kalaiselvam means a lot to us and glad it helped.
After subscribing to this channel, I learn a lot. Hope I'll be better version of myself. Thank you 👍👍🔥🔥🔥
Thanks for subscribing and hope we can help you as much as possible.
@@JacobsBadminton Request... Please make only 1 tactic one video at a time instead of putting 2 or 3 tactic in a video... Will be better for both the video maker & subscribers
@@Serapa2022 Thanks msk and will bare that in mind for our next videos.
Nice shot 🙏👍🔥
Thanks 👍
@@JacobsBadminton i Will training too
Correction my channel
tnx
Благодарю вас за видео.
Очень интересно.
Рад, что вам понравилось и оказалось полезным
Can you do a video on doubles?
Hi George, we have 1 or 2 things planned for doubles but we just need other players to assist.
👍👍👍 thanks
Very informative..can you give some tips on how to improve the backhand
Here is one I've found effective. Get a heavy racket, log, bat, rod whatever which is liftable but heavier than your usual racket, practice backhand swings. Do it in proper repeated sets, do daily. For clear shots try wall knocking in backhand.
@@thehoch8798 Thanks for taking time and giving such useful advice

Whoa I tried the 'Opponent Awareness' part on my friend and he really did not catch it.. he rush back forward for 2 times and it was too late. Thank you so much :>!
That’s awesome glad it helped you in matches.
I think it would be easier to compare dos and not-dos if you show both of them together at the end of each section. Great video though!
Thanks Michael, had a few other people suggest that and don't worry as we have just that in our next video coming Sunday.
Daryl is amazing
Your making his head so big, he won’t even fit through the door soon. 😂
@@JacobsBadminton that's why there are double doors to get into Wycombe BC!
I dont get what the flat and cross under pressure is trying to show. Is it correcting the positioning, footwork/stance, the return direction or the clear level? SOmeone explain please
You don’t want to lift flat and cross under pressure because you leave a gap that’s hard for you to cover if your opponent smashes.
The wrong part in the first few seconds of the video was just looking at the shuttle instead of not trying to receive after the lift!😅 I’m sorry had to address it.😬 But the the improv parts are amazing!👏🏽🤟🏽
Haha Big Man Rockin, I could of got some of those but we were trying to prove a point. Have to do some better acting next time. Some of them are very hard to do wrong after so many years of playing.
@@JacobsBadminton Gotcha! Was just playing around 😌😁. Indeed. Keep up the amazing work y'all been doing👍!
Listen bro, if I don't have a big backswing, then my weak wrist gets lot more pressure as it has to move more. Any advices?
Make sure your not using your wrist, you want to use a finger squeeze action. This will give you more power and consistency.
@@JacobsBadminton Please elaborate finger squeeze action
So when is the right time to cross lift?
👍
The third mistake is one that I do a lot in doubles, I need to fix this
Keep practicing Buffalo and you'll get it
@@JacobsBadminton hi Jacob
Great video but the audio is absent on the right side of the headphone.
Sorry the audio wasn't perfect Yannley. Thanks for letting us know, I'm aware something happened in the editing process.
@@JacobsBadminton Keep up the good work. 🦾
Dommage que vous ne traduisiez pas en français
Je ne connais pas le français, mais y a-t-il un moyen de le traduire ?
@@JacobsBadminton je ne sais pas Peut être en sous titré il y a une option ?
Not really, it is depend on the player defense. As long you can anticipate opponents shots, something it works sometimes not work.
Kimi what do you mean?
@@JacobsBadminton I mean that even though if you leave some space for your opponent to hit with, you still can retrieve the shuttle, just enought power to return back the shuttle over the net. But mostly it depend the height and where is the shuttle fly to the back of the opponents base line.
@@kimipang2602 Not 100% sure what you mean but sometimes off a deep lift you can get away with the wrong foot if you've somewhat read where it's going. We don't want to just be doing enough to get the shuttle back, we want to be playing good returns that don't give good players any opportunities.
