    Cool video. I have a big problem with my leg arm, not only when I lunge but also in my overhead. It’s very hard to undo bad habits 😭

    • @JacobsBadminton
      @JacobsBadminton  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks Buffalo badminton. Old habits are harder to undo but takes more good practice to replace it with a new habit.

    @1:42, you are hitting with complete fave of racquet, very clean and no slice at all.Can you please guide as to how can we make sure to hit with complete face of racquet in smash or clear. Looks like i slice it. And how do we give the direction to the smash? Is it by slicing or hitting towards that area by changing the flow of racquet?

    • @JacobsBadminton
      @JacobsBadminton  2 роки тому +1

      Ankur, for your smash you can listen to the sound to see if your slicing. We shouldn't be slicing the smash if we want more power. You need to be aware with practice where your strings are facing and hit straight through the line of the shot and where you're aiming.

    Except for the one demonstrated above the shoulder everything else was hit from side and was shown as good technique.

      Yes your right and it won't always be exactly there when we play but hopefully you were able to see the difference and the point we were trying to make between the good and the bad.

    Change the sting color from red to black

  • @79Pavlito
    @79Pavlito 2 роки тому +2

    Why do you need to change grip and rotate head ?

    • @JacobsBadminton
      @JacobsBadminton  2 роки тому +1

      Change the grip on the backhand allows you to keep strings facing straight so you can hit straight when it’s behind you and allows you to rotate the forearm for more power. Also easier to play cross court.

    Get a good coach when you’re starting out to avoid developing bad habits.
