One day this song will get the recognition that it most definitely deserves. What a fucking jam from beginning to end. They really know how to write a song. It's criminal that it hasn't happened yet. Love all you guys reading this. Maybe music can save humanity..? One can dream.

Well, hot damn. First time I heard this song it made me get a little misty eyed.
A salute to all of the legendary musicians throughout the decades. The ones who assuaged our pain, inspired us, or just plain made us want to sing along and/or dance crazy. The ones whose voices and instruments continue to echo into the future, continually reminding us what music truly is about.
And we will keep listening. Always.

One of the few rocks bands that can actually write a hook. So much talent. Rocky enough to get to my tough side. Majestic enough to cover the artistic side. Absolutely brilliant.

+Kolby Winn you should try Daughtry, Rise Against or Stone Sour, or literally any 80 hard rock band, i know Motley Crue and Sixx A.M. along with bands like Tesla and W.A.S.P have incredible hooks in their choruses but also have so much balls to the wall rock mixed in.

bad dong the first three you named off I just cant, I've heard all three and strongly dislike them. Idk why. I loved slipknot 04'- back and I dont mind the 80's stuff its pretty good.

    ...take on solid ground
The Beatles were my thing so put on Jackson Browne
Maybe I threw on The Police or ELO to take me home
And every time I listened to The Pixies with you
Purple rain falls on the dark side of the moon
Maybe I'll take this journey through Europa with you too
    They helped me through
With rhythm and blues, my country too
    They watched me grow
With rock and roll, with heart and soul
And they were singing my life with every line
    Pulling my strings every time
Even through my torment we share this moment
Through the ups and the downs, the lows and the highs
We'll never forget, you opened our eyes
Even though I don't know you, I feel like I owe you
Phil Collins on the record player spinning round
It's In The Air Tonight, I feel good James Browne
And maybe Queen will headline like a Slow Criminal
Drop day all day, good night all night
Kiss is here to party,... fight for your right
The Stones will keep us rolling with The Eagles we can fly
    They helped me through
With rhythm and blues, my country too

With rock and roll, with heart and soul
And they were singing my life with every line
    Pulling my strings every time

I got Joni Mitchell when I need a soul sister
And I got Keith Richards when I know
I got Stevie Wonder with you underneath my covers
And I got Otis Reading for the love
And they were singing my life with every line

We'll never forget, you opened our eyes
Even though I don't know you, I feel like I owe you
