    Tarun Ravi is twelve years old and is a 6th grader in Corvallis, OR. Tarun started learning the mridangam at six from his father and Guru Prof. Ravi Balasubramanian. Tarun's mother Smt. Mrudula Ravi helped shape Tarun's development and practice. With his Guru’s guidance, Tarun has won awards at several percussion and konnakol competitions over multiple years, including the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Vaadya Vahini conducted by OSAAT (Bay Area), the International Music Premier League (IMPL), and the Margazhi competition held by The Hindu newspaper.

    Vid. Prof. Ravi Balasubramanian is the most sought-after Ghatam artiste in North America and is known for his energetic and sensitive accompaniment and solos. With over 1000 concerts, Ravi has extensive experience in Carnatic percussion, including performing the Ghatam at top musical institutions such as the Madras Music Academy and the Cleveland Aradhana for nearly 20 years. He received the title Yuva Kala Bharathi in 2003 from Bharat Kalachar and the Neelakanta Sivan Pazhani Krishna Iyer Award from Neelakanta Sivan Cultural Academy in 2019, for excellence and dedication in the art of Ghatam. Ravi expanded the envelope of using the Ghatam in music, when he presented special “GhataTarang” concerts with seven Ghatams as the lead melody and percussion instrument for the first time outside India. Ravi received his initial tutelage from Palghat Sri P. K. Sekar and Sangitha Kalanidhi Dr. T. K. Murthy and pursued advanced training from Sri V. Suresh in Chennai. Ravi received his PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and has won several national awards in robotics. He is currently a tenured professor at Oregon State University.

    Vid. Kalyanapuram Sri. S Aravind is one of the most sought-after Carnatic vocalists of his generation of musicians. Aravind belongs to a family of rich cultural and vedic heritage which includes senior Harikatha Exponent 'Kalaimamani' Kalyanapuram Sri R Aravamudachariar and Kalyanapuram Sri R Veeraraghavachariar who are his paternal uncles. Aravind began his formal training in Carnatic music at the age of 4 from Smt. Sudha Seshagopalan (Wife of Sri TNS). He continued his training under Sri Kasthuri Rangan, a senior disciple of Sri TNS. Aravind now is being shaped and chiseled by none other than the Living Legend Padmabhushan Sangeetha Kalanidhi Madurai Sri TN Seshagopalan for the past 15+ years.

    Vid. Arun Ramamurthi is a senior disciple of the renowned musician, Delhi Shri P Sunder Rajan. Arun is a sought-after violin accompanist across the US and has had the honor of accompanying several senior Carnatic musicians such as Sangita Kalanidhi Padmabushan Madurai Sri T.N. Seshagopalan, Sangita Kalanidhi Padmabushan Smt. Sudha Raghunathan, and Sangeeta Kalanidhi Neyveli Sri Santhanagopalan, to name a few. Arun is also a trained vocalist having learned from Smt. Padma Kutty as well as the late Vairamangalam Lakshminarayanan. In addition to performing, he has been keen on giving back to his community and the next generation of young musicians. For the past 14 years, he has been teaching violin to aspiring kids. In 2015, he inaugurated Maarga USA, a non-profit organization that provides a platform for young budding musicians. He also served as a board member for the South Indian Music Academy (Los Angeles).
