- NBA 2K21 has some great takeover abilites. Slashing, sharpshooting, post scoring, lockdown, glasscleaning, rim protector, and shot creating are all viable options but one takeover is going to go from worst to best after patch 3 comes out and that is playmaking takeover in NBA 2K21! Once they buff ankle breakers, playmaking takeover on the best build in NBA 2K21 is going to be a glitch!

Idk the shooting system is wack. They need to make the shooting bar bigger like I’ll be getting excellent releases and no green animation. But when I shoot whites I be getting green animations. Like it makes no sense. Also Playmaking takeover doesn’t even work.

The build is a 6"5' SF with blue/Yellow pie chart max wingspan. You get contact dunks and pro dribble moves off rip (no 99). Thank me later
its better at pg, 6'5 min weight and increase wingspan until u get 85 driving dunk

Karl the Beast i have my stuff set up exactly like that. Hof quick first step, never had giant slayer & turned shot timing to shots only since launch. I still constantly get my contacts on defenders my size or bigger but not as consistently on smaller defenders. Especially with my takeover. It’s weird & broken

As of right now imma go with sharp take I would have said shot creating take but if you look at the stats sharp boost midrange AND 3pt by 10 and with how much whites off fades go in it’s obviously which one you should pick

Joe same as last year playmaking boost was ridiculous to boosting shot from the pass. I was on a paint beast blue/red with a max wing span 33 3 pointer and no shooting badges. I had slashing takeover active, my friend had hall of fame floor general hall of fame dimer and playmaking takeover and I greened a corner 3 first try. That was in 2k20 near the end when we were just messing around having fun.

DemonStep 2k is a game. Their ratings have to mean something to them. Dwight Howard, Andre Drummond or Whiteside taking a 3 and hitting it is the, believing and knowing they’re going to hit the shot cuz it looks good cuz it’s real and it’s based on their form and shot making. If 2k uses those rules then no build matters. They have to stick to what they are. A “game.”
I think that if one player has play take and the 30 3pt player is in take i think its rewarding enough with how long it takes to get play take

Post takeover is the best in my mind because if you your the directional shooting you don’t even have to be close to make fades but if you play pro am play take is the most important because it turns everyone on the floor into a sharp

You are right about the playmaking TO cause I chose it instead of slashing on the Lebron build and it’s very effective for your teammates the green window is huge whenever you pass the ball to a teammate for a catch and shoot and they won’t really miss we just need a little bit of Ankle breaker that’s all

joe i have a interesting build idea for a video... a pure yellow center with a little bit of defense i have a feeling it would help at a guard on the 2s alot and the defense would be good but im not sue of the finishing

On my pure blue interior finisher with all contact dunk packages and hof contact finisher it contacts dunks once in every 5 tries and even with my slashing take it dosent dunk every time it just does some little layups that is heavily contested. Someone help.
