I've purchased and started using this concealer, im 51 and can honestly say, it makes my eyes look brighter and younger. Im medium fair, blonde hair and shade 2 was OK. The packaging is excessive, however im using the large white box its come in as a storage box for my socks! La Prairie is expensive but worth it - the feel of it on the skin is amazing. This product is also an eye treatment! Definitely an investment 😍 Good luck everyone!

Ah the start of this video is gold! Thank you for the demo, especially the comparison with the Dior. I tend to prioritize skincare over makeup, so I considered buying this, however if I'm going to wear makeup for my panda undereyes, I do want coverage. Even the Dior one fades on me after 4 hours, thanks to my extra oily eyesockets. I have yet to get the PMG undereye setting powder, to hopefully prolong it's wear because my current powders just cake it up.

This concealer sounds like it is for people with no dark circles under the eyes, it wouldn’t do much for me unfortunately. I will carry on using my Madara concealer which is clean and a high medium coverage

I just ordered the new Gucci face powder from the gucci US website and they also have free overnight shipping! Plus it comes in a gucci shopping bag, a gucci envelope, and card with ur receipt. Loved it, the only thing I didn't like was the shade pics i couldn't tell which shade would work for me. I'm a true light to light/medium neutral and I bought shade 01 and it's really bright but kinda works. I was scared to pick shade 2 or 3 bc 2 looked pinky and 3 looked kinda dark tan looking. I might get another shade when comes to sephora maybe lol. These ultra fancy brands r so luxe when ordering from them!

Just a warning - their powder is extremely fragranced. I love the way it looks on the skin if you want some additional coverage but I barely use it because of it.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does "caviar" mean in makeup and skin care? Does it actually contain some kind of fish egg essence? That would make it not Vegan, right? Or does it mean something else?
such an insane product, it actually looked great when you first laid them on, but perhaps the right eye had too much and the left eye had too little to begin with, which may be the cause of the creasing issue...? the « above & below the tear duct » is actually exactly how i wear concealer too, just vertically at the inner eye which is the recess that causes darkness, and i tap & sweep the excess under my eye towards the outer corner. nothing goes on the lid : at times when i feel like it i will wear a dedicated eyeshadow base or primer. i really hope you’re able to make the la prairie work for you !!! 💗

I noticed it didn’t crease on the upper lid either. Very impressive and is EXACTLY what I’m wanting out of a concealer 😍 Now, onto how I can justify this expense to the hubby 🤔😜

Oh Michele, as much as I enjoy your reviews, including this one, I can’t help but reminded of a British sketch show by Harry Enfield who did several skits where he owned an antique store called ‘I saw you coming’. His store was full of junk that he sold for thousands of pounds to ladies who appeared to have more money than sense. 6mls of eye concealer for $180 fits into that category for me so I think I will pass.

La Prairie Skin Caviar line is based on a fish egg extract. Not vegan !

Super interesting! Do you think la prairie would do refills in the future? I could see paying that price once since concealer is a major part of my makeup and I don’t really do foundation, but it just seems wasteful to get the whole pen every time
It may be beautiful but the packaging, the way extra steps, and process. Who has time or desire.

Oh Michele, as much as I enjoy your reviews, including this one, I can’t help but reminded of a British sketch show by Harry Enfield who did several skits where he owned an antique store called ‘I saw you coming’. His store was full of junk that he sold for thousands of pounds to ladies who appeared to have more money than sense. 6mls of eye concealer for $180 fits into that category for me so I think I will pass.

I'm actually shocked at the price of this ... $235.00 CAD for 6 mls of concealer? The packaging is ridiculous, and they don't even list ingredients on their website. It didn't appear to have any coverage, either. I think your undereyes look great with no concealer. If that were an eye cream it would cost $587.50 for the standard 15 mls! 😲
