- St Mirren and Dundee United took the 2nd leg to the wire as both sides failed to get an advantage after 120 minutes of play, taking the tie to penalties.

Literally some of the worst penalties I've ever seen
bad penalty is just what goes out. the last one is not bad, but the goalkeeper makes the mistake and stays in the middle and has the luck and goes over it.
Aye, it wasn't a classic. But then that's what makes Scottish football so great to watch!

3 were saved by the keeper. Give him credit. Had he jumped the other way or had he not stayed in the middle for the last pen it could've been a completely different story and people would say that Dundee players sent the keeper the other way :D

CeeJay1872! ! What? I’m a Dundee fan I thought it was hilarious. But as long as a penalty is on target, it’s not “missed”. I feel that term gives a goalkeeper no credit for making a save, only my opinion.

Few of my close friends are St.Mirren men and were at the game so I was happy to see them get a result and a wee bank holiday celebration. Being a Gers man myself it made it even sweeter that they stayed up at the expense of Utd 🙌🙌

As a Caley Thistle fan, the ref was worse in our playoff.
How can you say that’s not a red he’s elbowed him in the face, end of the day the ref has seen contact and that’s a red
Pathetic performance by united. We done nothing over the 120 minutes to show that we deserved to win the game, St. Mirren had all the chances, even though the referee gave a lot of decisions our way we weren't able to capitalize on it.
If we shown any kind of bottle in the shootout and won then it would have been totally underserved

Would be good to have Dundee Utd back in the premier. Well at least this way they can go up in style next season, like Hearts, Rangers and Hibs did in the end. I want it as as a Dons fan, it would be good to have a relative derby, not just the good, but too nervous matches against the far richer Old Firm. Also Dundee Utd could soften the Old Firm up, for the Dons, as in being a bigger club to match them and such than some of the other clubs ion the league. Good luck to Dundee United.
