He is the true Mr. Olympia, who ooks and behaves like a bodybuilder, not a freak. He is the best advert for the sport and perfect role model. I'd rather see athletes looking to emulate his symmetry and balance, as opposed to dangerously overdeveloping their muscles to look superhuman. Well done to The Wolf for coming back: He had the Steve Reeves look, and actally looked like a really fit, strong and toned guy. I believe 2018 will unfortunately bring yet another premature passing in this sport. The IFBB judges now owe it to those who emulate their athletes to champion balanced, and safely achieved athletic appearance.

The amount of drugs and overeating is just not healthy, period. People praise Dexter and he's a great guy, but odds are in a few years he's going to be in Ronnie Coleman's situation (I absolutely hope that's not the case just to be clear). There needs to be a real change in the sport that continues away from mass monsters in general, hopefully that will have some impact on health.

I really hope Denis will be OK. Putting excess poundage through a fused cervical spine is far from ideal, but he may think it's worth it. We need a return to just one class, with a Mr. Olympia similar to Denis in size and proportions. Arnold made a stand on guts and aesthetics. He needs to do the same on excess mass and it's cost to health. However, if the demise of the Freaks meant less spectator $s for the sport, I wonder how the IFBB woud react.
