Hi Amrutha. Yes, there is work on immunotherapy for gallbladder cancer. At the American Society for Clinical Oncology Meeting in 2018, Charlotte Ariyan, M.D., Ph.D., of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, discussed a poster presentation that involved the combination of nivolumab and IPI-549, which targets the PI3K pathway, in advanced solid tumors. Of twelve patients treated at the time, there had been two responses, one in gallbladder cancer and one in adrenocortical cancer, and both are ongoing. With the nivolumab dose kept constant, a PI3K-dose-related increase in the proliferation of exhausted CD8+ memory T cells was observed. www.cancerresearch.org/blog/june-2018/asco18-day-4-melanoma-lung-cancer
