Man people say that link is not expressive and is a bland shell in OOt....but to me He is by far the most tragic hero in the series😔😔😔

Yup, poor dude had his childhood stripped from him, then Zelda stripped him of his adulthood too by sending him back in time and lost his home twice. First time when he found out he wasn't a Kokiri and then when he was send back.

Its pretty cool knowing that this Hero is the one that changed time itself, all because of him we have this huge split. Its cool knowing the entire journey, and this video will inform people about it, and clearify some things, so thank you for making this video. Lastly, it would be cool if there was one last hero of time game after majora's mask, and before twilight princess, detailing the tragic end, but the hopeful inspiration, of the Hero of Time.

Thanks for the lore, I have a question I'd love for ya to look into though.
If Zelda sent Link back before he pulled the sword, but link already had the door of time open behind him, how could he warn zelda before she fled the castle with Impa?
If it was before he met zelda or was during the time he was sent out on the Quest to obtain the stones, how did he end up in the room with the gate of time opened?
This being the fact that we don't see the three stones needed to begin the opening process, and the beginning section of majora's mask shown Zelda handing the ocarina of time over to Link before he left on his own quest?
I thought of this question randomly one day and haven't seen a video diving into it yet. Your other video about Skyward Sword made me remember my old question relating to it, and I really wanna know you and other Zelda Tuber questions to this too.
Like did Navi show Link the way out of the room? Did he teleport out? Did someone let him out? Was the gate of time open this entire time? And how can it be open without the stones?!
... that being said, I'd love to be pointed to, or have ya make a video trying to answer or speculate over this topic I bring up. Maybe ya can pass it around the Zelda Community, or make a collab with this idea too. I'm just super curious and have fun memories with Ocarina of time, so having a Zelda tuber answer my question I had for a while would be amazing.
Even just a theory about it would be super appreciated too~😁
Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read all this rambling. Hope ya have a great week.😊👍

@@magikarpkingdom9698 I had a talk with LoruleanHistorian and we reached an interesting conclusion.
Zelda's Lullaby is a song with misterious powers, its capable of fixing broken signs, open doors etc.
Zelda, as a Sage, sends Link back in time using the Ocarina of Time by playing Zelda's Lullaby.
Adult Zelda said she would use jer power "As a Sage" to restore Link (just like how you restore broken signs), in order for him to "Regain his lost time".
Zelda, using her powers as a Sage and Zelda's Lullaby, sent Link back to before things fell apart, with some benefits like the door of time being open and Link still being the bearer of the Triforce of Courage (which unbeknownst to them gave Ganondorf the Triforce of Power, and Zelda the Triforce of Wisdom as well).

I am one of the few that says:
Knight of the Golden Wolf =/= Hero of Time
To me, it is clear that the Knight of the Golden Wolf is the ancient Hero spoken of by many NPCs in Twilight Princess, the divinely chosen Hero, the owner of the green tunic and Hero's Bow, said to have exorcised a great evil in the past.
And, to what I dig up, the last messenger of the sky and the previous resident of Snowpeak ruins when it wasn't ruins.
He is behind the howling stones as he, weilder of the triforce of Courage inherited from the Hero of Time, can also turn into a noble beast.
He is the one that left behind the secret storage room in the Castle as only the messenger of the sky would be able to move the owl statues.
The paintings at Snowpeak, only the messenger of the sky was allowed to access the City in the Sky which has a painting here and only the weilder of the triforce of Courage could have entered the Sacred Grove which has an howling stone blocking its entrance.
Also, from the paintings, he was familiar with the queen Rutela (or some unseen Zora depending on your version) which husband made the Zora Armor for the Hero as Rutelo told us, indicating that he knew who the Hero well and Zora live for a very long time as revealed in MM and BOTW. That Zora King, unlike what some dubious and misunderstood sources claim, isn't the Zora King of OOT, father of Ruto, he is the father of Ralis.

"It's said that this Goron treasure was left behind by a hero of the past." - N/A
"You got the Hero's Bow! This Goron treasure once belonged to a hero of legend." - N/A
The Hero's Bow was handed to the Gorons by the Ancient Hero. This Hero saved Hyrule from danger long ago.
"The green tunic that is your garb once belonged to the ancient hero chosen by the gods..." - FARON
"Sir, you wear the garb of the hero in my people's legends..." - ZORA GUARD
"That timeless design... You're sporting the legendary hero LOOK, aren't you?" - SHAD
"...Are you an actor or something? Dressing like the legendary hero... Wow, gutsy. If you want to get stared at, why not just join the circus or something?" - ASHEI
"In Hyrule, countless tales are told of the ancient hero...and your deeds bring them all to mind." - RENADO
Everyone knows TP's Tunic is the one from the Ancient Hero. The fact they know means he is remembered as a hero.
...There is armor here that my husband made for the coming hero. It holds the power of the Zoras." - RUTELA
"During his lifetime, my husband created garments specifically for the chosen hero, garments that house the abilities of the Zora." - RUTELA
Rutela's Husband, Prince Ralis' father, not the one from Ocarina of Time, made the Zora Armor for "the coming hero". This "coming hero" was one yet to appear, not one that existed during the time.
"You may be destined to become the hero of legend...but your current power would disgrace the proud green of the hero's tunic you wear." - HERO'S SHADE
"But I have five more secrets to teach you...in time. Those are only for one who carries the blood of the hero...the one whose spirit is that of the sublime beast." - HERO'S SHADE
"Although I accepted life as the hero, I could not convey the lessons of that life to those who came after. At last, I have eased my regrets." - HERO'S SHADE
The Hero's Shade accepted life as a the hero (The Hero of Time), but he could not pass on his lessons to "those who came after". His teachings could only be taught to the one who carries the "Blood of the hero", being a hero who carries his own blood. There likely was not a hero in his bloodline during his lifetime, until the Hero of Twilight. This was likely due to the fact that there can´t be more than one incarnation of the Spirit of the Hero at the same time. Think of it as Avatar the Last airbender. Only one avatar exist at a time, but he can speak to his past lives.
It's clear that this is the Hero of Time. Several hundred years passed between Ocarina and Twilight Princess (TP and WW taking place at the same time in different timelines, confirmed by Aonuma himself)
The previous residents of Snowpeak Ruins were the Knights of Hyrule. the same emblem is found all across Hyrule Castle, including the giant armors. They knew of the Ooccaa, had ties with the Zora Royal Family, etc.

@@ZeldaLore Have to disagree with the conclusion that this is the Hero of Time.
If the ancient Hero knew Rutela's husband then he cannot be the Hero of Time as you yourself acknowledge that they are different kings.
Unless he lived for multiple centuries which is highly unlikely.
As I see it, all the evidence I've found points out to another Hero between the Hero of Time and the Hero of Twilight.
I've been working on a timeline of events between OOT/MM and TP and this is a simple view of what I came up with based on the games :
OOT Link returns to the Past -> OOT Link tells the Royal Family everything -> OOT Link spends a couple days with Zelda in Hyrule -> MM -> War against Ganondorf -> Hyrule victorious but mostly in ruins -> The Oocca help with Hyrule's reconstruction and bring about an epoch of propserity -> The prolonged war takes place and ends the epoch of prosperity -> Most of the Sheikah vanish(again) -> Non-Hylians(round eared) begin to settle down in Hyrule -> A great evil appears and is taken out by the divinely chosen ancient Hero -> The last messenger of the Sky -> Snowpeak is forsaken -> Ralis's father dies -> TP Link grows up at Ordon Village -> TP

@@nonoctoro4933 nowhere in Twilight Princess is it stated that the Ancient Hero knew the Zora King. King Zora created the armor for "the coming hero". This likely indicates he made it for a future hero.
There's several errors in your timeline.
      1) it's more than a few days that Link stays with Zelda, as it is between Ocarina and Majora that the Skull Kid met and befriended the giants, and was later exiled. He then met the fairies after he was banished a under a log in Termina field. Tatl and Tael were not with him in Ocarina, and the Terminians tell of these events as if there were a legend.
      2) The Ooccaa helped build Hyrule after the Interloper War, helping Rauru build the Temple of Time which is why it has so many statues related to the Dominion Rod, the rod itself being instrumental in reaching the City in the Sky, being the rod of the Messenger of the heavens.
      3) round ear humans exist everywhere else outside of Hyrule, Ordon being a province outside of Hyrule proper. Holodrum, Labrynna, Hytopia, Ordon, even Koholint, all have round ear humans. Only Hyrule, the land of the gods, has Hylians, as they are a race closely tied to the goddesses, their ears being pointed to hear their messages.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on this. The Hero's shade is undoubtedly the Hero of Time, and evidence supports there was not a hero between the Hero of Time and the Hero of Twilight.

    • @nonoctoro4933
      @nonoctoro4933 3 роки тому

@@ZeldaLore The Knight of the Golden Wolf was also waiting for the coming Hero, the same one as he.
Also, the armor allows the Hero to enter the Lakebed Temple which contains one of the clawshots which act as a key to the Sky Cannon., in fact, it is the key to make it work. The Clawshot being found in the sky indicates a certain connection between the Oocca and Zora, or should I say, between the Zora and the messenger of the sky which I believe to be the Ancient Hero.
Let's me see what you think are errors :
      1) No, Skull Kid met in the giants in ancient times. There is a portrait of him maskless at the beach spider house which was being investigated by Ikana's army under the commands of Captain Keeta. But Captain Keeta was long dead, having lost the war at the hill, buried at the graveyard under an arch he breaks off by freeing himself.
This would point out that Skull Kid is as old as the Ikana Kingdom if not more. Skull Kids are not truly living but rather undead, their japanese og name is "Stalkid", with "stal" as in "stalfos", they are forest ghosts of lost children.
It is a legend of long ago passed down by the Granny as she herself says it is, skull Kid was banished from Termina to the "heavens"(Hyrule) but only returned in Termina recently, surely feeling lonely as the other of his kind refused to play with him, he has to be the skull kid away from the others awaiting for the skull mask to get along with others.
      2) I believe they rather helped reconstructing the Temple of Time. The dungeon part of the Temple of Time isn't in some sort of dimension like I previously thought so, it is actually within Hyrule and you fight skull kid in one of the ruined rooms. That would make the Temple of Time of TP quite massive.
As it is, this had to be add after the events of OOT/MM.
But I'm not denying the connection between the owl statue and Kaebora Gaebora which I consider to not be Rauru, yes I'm doing it again, diverging from the majority's opinion. I would rather consider him to be the reincarnated form of Gaepora, the lorekeeper and father of the reincarnated goddess with a name and facial hair reminiscent of that owl, or some other sage.
      3) They were absent during the era of Ocarina of Time but now have a strong presence during the era of Twilight Princess.
I explain this either with Gor Coron's prolonged war that could've been against another nation or Impar's epoch of propserity in which the sky folks and royal family had strong bounds and left behind many ruins and statues witnessing that epoch across Hyrule, it could have attracted new faces from beyond Hyrule's borders.
The Hylians are not the only pointy eared out there, the Sheikah and Cobbles are also pointy eared. It is a mark of those that serve the gods.
The Hylians are not so closer the goddesses than the others, they were close to the Goddess Hylia they named themself, their land and a lake after. We know the legend, they were the people inhabiting the sacred land rescued by Hylia during the demonic invasion by being sent to the sky.
And I disagree with that. It seems it is a matter of interpretation and mine might be a bit too advanced but it stands out when confronted to the games' facts.

@@nonoctoro4933 The Clawshots are arguably the same ones from Skyward Sword, and we don´t know when exactly the Zora came to exist in the kingdom. We know there has been at least several king Zoras, as the king in Ocarina of Time, Zora de Bon XVI, was the 16th king in his lineage, and remember the Zora have extended lifespans. For all we know, the clawshot was given to the Zora in ancient times for safekeeping before the Ooccaa departed to the sky after helping construct Hyrule.
I agree with you in regards to the Skull Kid being ancient, that makes sense considering what you pointed out.
I don´t think the ruins outside the actual Temple of Time is the dungeon, but rather the remains of Old Hyrule Castle Town from Ocarina of Time, as Hyrule Castle and its town were moved to be in the center of Hyrule (this is suported by Breath of the Wild, with the great plateau being the original location of Ocarina of Time's castle and town, being the birthplace of the kingdom of Hyrule). I also don´t think it was rebuilt, as by the time of Twilight Princess it is left in a state of ruin. It's clear the temple was forgotten. Twilight princess takes place only a few hundred years after Ocarina.
Yes, they are present during Twilight Princess, but they had not made contact with Hylians since they helped build the kingdom.
The Sheikah and Hylians are both a sub-race of humans, same with the Gerudo and the actual round-eared humans, only the Sheikah and the hylians, being closer to the gods than the rest, have pointed ears. In Skyward Sword they were called humans, despite having pointed ears, calling themselves Hylians after they returned to the surface.
The Cobbles are not even from the same world as Hyrule, but they were close to the Ocean King, a deity, being the ones who forged the Phantom Sword in the first place, Zauz being a member of the Cobble Kingdom, explaining their pointed ears.
