I have a stock 572. It’s a good saw but you have to keep it in the revs. I find myself really paying attention to lift it out of the cut if it starts to slow down... I’m kicking around getting it ported.
Stingy with oil? Strange. You must have had a defective oiler. Just because it’s new doesn’t mean it’ll work. That’s why new stuff has a warranty. The three I have here will empty the oil before the gas if it’s tuned up all the way. I’ve run a 42” bar in ash with the oiler turned 3/4 way out. More bar than the saw could realistically handle but it oiled it.
The adjuster screw might not have been backed out far enough. I don’t feel a stopper on the adjuster for maximum flow and that makes it hard to tell. How many turns out are you? I’m glad you left a comment Mason, I’ve been wanting to ask someone with lots of hours on a 572.
@@CJSaws I unscrew it all the way out to the left until it stops then screw it in about 1/2 turn. I find that gets me close to even with the gas when it runs dry.
❓ Could you find and Port a used Twin Cylinder Chainsaw with 2 pipes The Harmony Sound is Awesome 👌 { I used to Oval Dirt Track Race against Twin Cylinder 250cc Yamaha's with Pipes like you Build They CRACKLE at an idle and Sound Amazing at 15000rpm
Yes. I had to adjust the oiler for more oil and kept the screwdriver in my hand. The chain dried out a couple times to were I couldn’t turn it by hand.

Have you ported any 462's for torque to compare to this?
No most of the timber fallers around here are still running the 461.
@@CJSaws how good do the 461s do ported?
@@justinweaver8787 they can stomp on a stock ms660.
@@CJSaws impressive!!!
What a torque monster! 🤘 Do you sell anything on eBay?
I haven’t sold anything on eBay.
@@CJSaws Okay, just wondering. Was curious if you sold saws or not.
【from Hipa】Do you like to test accessories for your equipment?thanks
isn't the outer dog upside down?
No that’s how they are. If it was upside down the holes wouldn’t sit flat against the clutch cover.
Is it still autotune?
Yes. I had to adjust the oiler for more oil and kept the screwdriver in my hand. The chain dried out a couple times to were I couldn’t turn it by hand.
@@CJSaws nice work buddy💯👍
I feel that the 5seires saw definitely lack torque theay are weak stock in my opinion.
