This video shows you how to install front brake pads and rotors on your 2011-2016 Hyundai Elantra. Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes.

Why bleed the brake line when it was totally sealed the whole time? I can understand if you were replacing the caliper but that wasn't done in this case. Am I missing something?

Shouldn't you have the reservoir cap off when compressing the piston?

50 foot pounds on those caliper guide pin bolts is wayyyy too much. Ask me how I know. It's more in the area of 20 ft lbs. Can you please edit the video to correct this.

According to the Haynes manual, caliper mounting bolts are 16 to 23 ft/lbs, and caliper mounting bracket bolts are 58 to 72 ft/lbs. Hope that helps.

dont forget to pump the brake pedal before putting it in gear I have seen this happen a few times where techs start the veh put it in reverse and press the gas pedal than they cant stop

Are the slide pins seized? I guess you don't know if you don't check them! It also looks like backing off that caliper piston is taking way more force than it should.

23 ft/lbs on the guide pins. I maxxed at 33. 50ft/lbs is pushing it.

Already stripped out 2 new guide pins

50lbs is likely too much. I just twisted my caliper bolt out of its threads.

Torch for the caliper bolts is wrong, I broke two bolts trying to hit 50 ft lbs. Please fix this video. Otherwise the video is very good.
