The song was from 1964 when first issued on Bragg Records. It took two years and three labels to get this record into the top 40 on Billboard. 1966 was the year it became a hit (after B.J. broke through with his first hit on Scepter records, "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry") and Hickory Records issued it for the third time around as soldiers being drafted to Vietnam took notice of the song. The Warner Brothers release was the second release, and failed to make the charts in early 1965.
Sounding soooo good.
Thank you!

A very good remix Pierre.
