🇫🇷 ‪@EnterShikariOfficial‬ mélange depuis 2003 post-hardcore rageur et techno trance. En gros, deux genres que tout oppose a priori. Cette fusion déconcertante n’empêche pas le groupe de réussir avec maestria ce grand écart. Après tout, quand on a le talent tout est possible, non ?
Toujours en quête d’expérimentation et d’hybridation, le quatuor a su faire évoluer son style au fil des années et des albums : le tumulte émo des débuts a laissé place à des compositions de plus en plus solaires. Une chose ne change pas en revanche : leur mélange des genres.
La dernière fois que nous avons filmé Enter Shikari au Hellfest, c’était en 2019. Le groupe venait alors y défendre The Spark, considéré comme le disque le plus mélodieux et le plus personnel des quatre Britanniques. Cette fois-ci, c’est A Kiss for the Whole World et ses couleurs bien plus pop qu’Enter Shikari déballe devant les hordes clissonnaises ! De quoi mettre du baume au cœur à tous ces métalleux.

🇩🇪 Enter Shikari verbinden seit 2003 wütenden Post-Hardcore mit Techno-Trance - also auf den ersten Blick zwei Genres, die nichts miteinander zu tun haben. Allerdings meistert die Band diesen künstlerischen Spagat geradezu spielerisch, denn schließlich ist mit der richtigen Portion Talent alles möglich, oder?
Die vier Jungs, die immer auf der Suche nach neuen Experimenten und hybriden Ausdrucksformen sind, haben ihren Stil im Laufe der Jahre und Alben stetig weiterentwickelt. Mittlerweile sind die chaotischen Emo-Anfänge immer strahlenderen Kompositionen gewichen. Eines ist jedoch geblieben: der Genremix.
Zuletzt standen Enter Shikari beim Hellfest 2019 vor den ARTE-Kameras. Damals stellte die Band dort „The Spark“ vor, das wohl melodiöseste und persönlichste Album der vier Briten. Diesmal sind sie mit „A Kiss for the Whole World“ am Start, einem deutlich poppigeren Werk, mit dem Enter Shikari das Publikum in Clisson begeistern werden. Balsam für die Seele der Metal-Fans vor Ort!

Such a great band. They're in their bubble. Nothing can hurt them. Except the rendering of this live mix that is just a heck of a mess😢. It makes them sound so " pop " than what they really sound like which is a hell of a lot more heavier. Love em ! People do listen to all their stuff they're amazing .

Imma say dude, after I went to see them the first time in 2015, their "sound" forever changed to be more pop oriented.
Saw them 3 times after that, and I can't help but wonder what would have been if they stayed in that more trance-hardcore vibe
