I had a job at a plywood factory. We had air guns with the same venturi holes. It keeps the output pressure below 30 PSI with large volume. They are required by OSHA when using air for cleaning. It's fine for cleaning large areas, but it sucks for small stuck on things. Also, OSHA says you must never point air at a person, and the best use for it is getting sawdust off your clothes!
lolol, yup, works great for getting sawdust, grime, insulation, dried up grease, brake dust, etc off for sure. do like this one is adjustable for psi. Hope you had a good weekend and that youve been doing well bud!
I blow dust from my clothes with air compressor too :) But now that warning makes me think ... probably a very bad idea to ever blow air to your face, maybe some kind of debri or sand can make it's way to/from the tank and it would become a projectile, no ?!
I made a tool for airing up tanks on stuck tractors. Most tanks have a pipe fitting cap, remove we have brass threaded nipples (imperial supplies red cabinet parts) and a shut off valve with a air fitting for shop air on the end. Can sometimes do the same with the glad hands if they don’t have the check valve, use a universal glad hand and go on the emergency red side. Only fills the primary tank though.
have seen folks also use (when they are cheap or on sale) red high side a/c fittings and coupling them into air hoses for airing up tanks on trucks. i made something akin to that with glad hand coupler and long air hose so i can use another tractor out in yard with the rubber nosed air gun for airing trucks up. fsdworks for us in mean time, but true, the schrader valve fittings would be more optimal! thank you for watching and hope you have a good week
actually it is, will agree, nice it does keep ample volume on low or high, but yup, some times you do want"just enough" air when blowing parts clean. thank you for watching!
thank you antonio, yeah this set is been definitely impressive this last month, works very well in the shop for sure. Hope things going alright your way!
Would it be worthwhile to hook this up to a 5 gallon tank? I'm looking to use it as a portable air duster to blow out bits and pieces from spot facing and tapping. I'll have a small work cart and will have to do 20+ installations per day. Aerosol Air Dusters are a no-go. Thanks
This could work well in that instance, especially with flow rate being adjustable. Could make last quite a while with a 5 gal air tank. The fact alot of the vokume is due to venturi at the nozzle will help with adjusted rate of air consumption as well. Thank you for watching
venturi... look up... come on, I was Navy, not Army, they teach us that stuff in bootcamp for flood control in compartments shipboard lolol. thank you for watching dave hope your weekend was alright.
What if i run into pressure tank 80 to 90 psi gauge it affect the volume of the pressure cfm? It will low the pressure volume of the gun? Or still the same performance from the compressor?
2:23 I have a different brand with same adjustment screw, I think that design is stupid, it is impossible to adjust the flow, you would need to keep it on and rotate while watching the output pressure, why not just lock in place when reaching min/max or click on values (1/2/3). No markings values, no precision at all, what is the purpose of adjusting something if there is no precision ?! 🤦♂
Well i guess it would be comparable to when you go get your extra strength vagisil at walgreens, sure you need the extra extra super duper strength, especially combined during your heavy flow bleed periods, but sometimes you gotta work with the cards you are delt. Hope that clears up for you soon btw.

Hi how much horse power? Air compressor do i need for that air gun
I think anything from 5 or 6 cfm on up should work well
About the pressure tank gauge set up? How much psi? Thank you sir

Cool air gun!
