White coast small living style ah, really good characteristics of it ~ its design is simple but not simple, attention to detail and smooth lines, so that the whole space appears spacious and comfortable. Whether it is the material choice of the exterior wall, or the decoration of the interior, it is full of nature and harmony. Moreover, this style pays special attention to blending with the surrounding environment. The scenery of the sea and the smell of the sea breeze have become indispensable elements in this style. Lovely! At 9: 14 someone added a bit of a roof over the front door. This is an easy and smart design for that. At 10: 08 that bit of a window sill indoors sticking out is fun and makes the room look more elegant than when it's left plain.

What dreams are made of. Would have loved to be the photographer who visited all these incredibly beautiful places 😍 The only negative thing I can say is these places aren't very practical...all the white. Beautiful but difficult to keep clean. Especially w kids and pets. Like I said what dreams are made of.

To be fair to those who was confused, the title was edited from cottage to cottages. But initially it was meant that this is all about a "White Coastal Cottage" Style :) It was never suggested that it has to be one cottage and it is so obvious that there are many just in the same style :)

I've lived all of my 72 years in New England within a mile of the ocean. This is exactly what I did not want my home to be. It's such a cliche. It is so very boring. Why are designers so afraid of colors these days? Do they not know what to do with them? Is it because all white or all beige is just so much easier for them?
Thank you for your opinion as someone who lived by the coast :) maybe because not all of designers have lived by the ocean to get tired of the palette? 😜 But you are right, colours are always great! 🤗🌷
But maybe not everyone likes a lot of colors in their home. Some people like it natural with soft colors. For them it’s not boring, it’s calm and peaceful.

IKEA, Restoration Hardware, and most interior designers can get them for you.
@@MsMary1434 Ikea has a really limited selection. I’m afraid interior designers are outside my budget. 😕
