@@wool578 Characters don’t have full on monologues in Sunshine. Yeah there’s conversation here and there but it’s still pretty rare.
Many old commercials have the Mario characters talking a lot (especially Mario himself), and they’ve made Mario and Wario speak a lot at E3 events
I love how Wario and his... friends are just chilling in that office.
Yea, that office shot of the Wario Ware company seemed really... wholesome. Lots of "They really are friends just chilling and making games together" vibes there (well, the closest thing to "friend" that Wario can get, which is still a marked improvement over how he was left out of the "everyone gets together" party scenarios in Wario Ware Gold.)

There was Mega Party Games on the GameCube. And there was a multiplayer mode in Smooth Moves.

He had full dialogue in "Wario Ware Gold," (a sadly ignored 3DS game, which is basically a love letter to the entire Ware series) so I assume they'll speak in all new Ware Ware games, and be barely animated to recapture that quirky classic GBA look.

I feel the same way, I think this may have been the strongest direct for my tastes in the 7 years I’ve watched them but I had my biggest freak out and reaction when I saw Advance Wars, this is my second.
If the direct had JUST this game and NOTHING else, I would still be just as happy. This is the best part of the direct, and I’m gonna treasure this game when I get it

Dude I'm praying so hard that we get a Rhythm Heaven on Switch. I would cry. That game is everything to me. Have you tried Mad Rat Dead? It's the only rhythm game that's scratched that itch for me on the Switch so far.

@@sk8brder40 It's confirmed that this WarioWare is also up to 4 players, but being able to play the entire story mode cooperatively with a friend is a pretty cool feature to have nonetheless

I did like Penny and her microgames to be honest, but I’m glad that we have Jimmy T, Mona, and Young Cricket back!
We also got the return of Dr. Crygor, Mike, Ashley, and 5-Volt.
All of those guys were already in Gold. This game even uses the Gold artstyle to an extent.
What really surprises me is that Lulu was in that one shot of everyone. She’s not part of the company, why is she there at all?

Never played WarioWare but this game’s got me interested.
You definitely should play WarioWare Gold (or the demo, if, in Wario's words: "Oh yeah... no money."). Probably the most hilarious game I've played, and it has lots of replay value. The story feels like an extended episode of a cartoon, and you'll probably be begging for more once you've finished it all. It also has an unlockable 'Studio', which, for whatever reason, allows players to test out their voice acting skills in most of the story cutscenes.
warioware on gba and nds are still incredible games that hold up today in 2021. def go play em.

Waluigi isn't part of the Wario/WarioWare Franchise. He only appears in Mario games as Wario's partner in crime, so to speak.
