Hi - We turned on "bake" and there was a pop/smoke and then it didnt heat up. Zero error codes and you can still bake and set temp buts its not heating up. any ideas? all other features work fine. thanks
Thanks for watching. It's likely that one of the heating elements has burnt out. Try testing the elements following the steps in this video: ua-cam.com/video/ABope7vl5IY/v-deo.htmlsi=YFPQCKiEMhXqbPkx As well it could be a limit switch or a thermal fuse: ua-cam.com/video/Ox1lPMJY62U/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. If you had a power surge of any kind then it could have blown the thermal fuse. Not all models have a thermal fuse, so it could also be the temperature sensor. You can learn more in this video: ua-cam.com/video/96s7maybHlY/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. A F1 E0 code can mean that there is an issue with the oven control board, or the associated wiring. Try disconnecting power to try to force a reset. As well make sure that all the wire connectors are secure. If there are any damaged wires, then the wires will have to be repaired. If none of that helps, then it's best to install a new control board: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
Hi ! First, thank you for your useful videos. I have a question. I have a Whirlpool oven model: YWFE745H0FH0. A few days ago all the heating elements in the oven started working at the same time (grill, oven and convection). I have no error codes showing and I have turned the breaker off for 5 minutes and re-opened and the problem persists. What do you think is the problem?
Thank you, we're glad that you're finding the videos helpful! If the heating elements turn on when all the power is off then it's a malfunctioning control board. This is a sign that the control board has closed the relays giving power to the elements when it's not supposed to. ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html Now it is worth individually testing the bake setting, the broil setting and convection setting to see which elements turn on. Selecting the bake setting, the bake element (and sometimes the broil element) will work together to heat the oven. When selecting broil, only the top broil element will heat up. During a convection, all 3 elements might be used (depending on the model)
My Whirlpool range model RF367LXKQ is not locked closed but is showing a "DOOR" code and the electronic control unit won't allow any of the switches to function (the burner controls work however). Recycling power to the unit is ineffective. Is the "DOOR" code essentially the same as the F5-EO and/or F5-E1 codes described in the video? I am preparing to troubleshoot the Rear Oven Door Latch per linked video. Thanks!
Hi Brett, thank you for watching. If the door opens correctly but you're getting the door code it could be an issue with the door position switch or door latch switch. As well its best to check the oven sensor as well as this can also prevent the oven from working. You can test this from the back of the oven: ua-cam.com/video/x-fujr9Sxqg/v-deo.html
Hi, on my Whirlpool Accubake showing F5 E2 and stop working. I ordered and replaced the door swicth. Frist time is worked after fixed but a little bit later (20-30 min) stopped. And showed again that error code in test mode. What is your suggestion? Whats is the next step? Thanks Johnny
Thanks for watching. It could be an issue with one of the switches on the door lock motor assembly. This is generally accessed from the back and you can test the switches to see if they are faulty or not: ua-cam.com/video/nf0bN0VgdnU/v-deo.html
Hello, thank you for the video, I am getting an F3 code on my GE JKP15, are there possibly more than 1 error that would cause an F3 code? Again, thank you!
Thanks for watching, we're just happy to help. It could be an issue with the temperature sensor which can be tested with a multimeter: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
Hi, I have an electric GE oven. After broil cooking, the F20 (F2?) and F31 alternatively come on and won’t go away. I tried to UNPLUG, TURN BREAKER OFF, but nothing solved. The blowing fan is ON or BLOWING even at room temperature. What should I do to fix it? Thanks.
Thanks for watching. Those are both temperature sensor codes. In some models if the the temperature sensor is faulty, and is detecting the wrong temperature, then the control might think that the oven is overheating, and will run the convection fan to help cool it down. In this case if you tested the temperature sensor you'd find that the resistance is likely off or that it has shorted: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
I have an F7 E8 code on my GE Profile Electric Stove model JCSP47BF5BB. Stove works but oven controls, clock doesn't. I'm thinking it's a bad control board.
Thanks for watching, and sorry about the delayed response. An F7 E8 code can mean that there is an issue with the keypad. You can try checking the connections to make sure that they are secure and that there are no burnt or damaged wires. In many cases you might need to install a new control board / keypad.
I have a frigidaire electric stove .. I shut off the breaker for it by accident couple days ago .. the light for door locked was on and couldnt open door .. I followed ur video by taking the back off because its a rear motor .. unhooked the wires etc .. hooked it all back up ... plugged it back in and turned breaker back on ... the door locked light is still on but the door opens ... but all the buttons for using the oven dont work ... not the bake, broil, etc .. I did another reset on the breaker for few mins and still nothing ... door opens , door locked icon still on .. and cant use any oven functions ... Any help ?
Thanks for watching. If you've tried a reset by holding down cancel and it hasn't helped then there could be a couple things that you could check. Check that all the wire connections are good. You can check the door lock motor switches that monitor the position of the door lock during a self clean cycle. If any of these switches are faulty then it can create issues: ua-cam.com/video/nf0bN0VgdnUa/v-deo.html If that doesn't show anything then check the door switch: ua-cam.com/video/sWSUzTuvFRI/v-deo.htmlsi=yIxkVN2bT5az2vkS As well a faulty temperature sensor can cause issues if the oven thinks it is unsafe to unlock the door: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html Hope this helps!

Thanks for watching. It can mean that the control board is sensing a stuck or shorted key on the touch membrane. This could be because the buttons are worn out and have been pressed to many times. Or there could be some corrosion on the control board. In some cases you can install a new keypad and in other cases you'll have to install a new control board: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. Simply put it's pointing to a problem with the control board. Try unpugging the range for a few minutes and turning it back on as this can help it reset. As well check every wire connection on the control board to make sure that the connections are secure. If that doesn't help you might need a new board or you can always get a technician to try to run diagnostics (which requires special tools and knowledge)
5d means that your oven control board thinks it's in show room mode on this model. To try to exit show room mode, unplug the oven and plug the unit back in after 1 minutes. Press Cancel to bypass programming clock. Within 60 seconds of reapplying power, press Oven Light keypad as well as the Timer keypad simultaneously.
Thanks for watching. I'm not sure and I'm not seeing much information on d0 codes. It might be referring to the door. Does the oven function correctly?
@@AmreSupply The oven works as intended except for the boiler. It seems to develop some level of heat and keep the interior fan running but gives up a while after then spits out that code.
Thanks for watching. With any intermittent power issue, check all wire connections to make sure they are secure. Look for any damage for the power cord wires and the wires leading into the control board. If needed you can check individual wires for continuity. If that doesn't help then it could be an issue with the control board.
Thanks for watching. In your case its likely an issue with the temperature sensor not detecting the right temperature causing the oven to overcompensate. This can be tested from the back of the oven. You can learn more here: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. It means that the control board is not getting the full 240 volts needed to power the heating elements. The power is supplied through two 120V lines. First check if the connections into the control board are secure as a loose connection can create issues. Now if your stove elements still heat up then that proves that you still have 240 V to the range. If you don't then it's possible that you have only 1 line of power. This video shows how to test the outlet, how to test the power cord and check if the wires into the control board are still good: ua-cam.com/video/wZwxewn2w44/v-deo.html If that still doesn't help then it could be a bad relay in the board. You can see how to install a new board in this video: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. It's not a common code but can mean that there is an loose connection to the control board or keypad. First try holding cancel or set for 10 seconds to see if this helps. As well you could disconnect power, open up the back and check each connection to the control board to the control board: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
To anyone who might need this, I solved - - - C error by unplugging the oven from electricity for 5 minutes. Then plugged it in, pressed both SET and OK buttons until Eur appeared on the screen. Then clicked SET again which changed it to Eurn and pressed OK. Now the oven works
Hi, do you have any videos on how to repair F2 EO whirlpool accubake? The control panel is stuck on locked for the stove ranges. We already tried to flip the breaker, unplug… nothing. Please help.
Thanks for watching. If the door stays locked it could be the door lock motor: ua-cam.com/video/GTJRf-aCXbw/v-deo.html Or it could also just be an issue with the temperature sensor as in some models the oven control will lock the oven door if the sensor is faulty.: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html Finally it could mean that you have a shorted keypad which would require a new control board. This is difficult to test so its best to eliminate the other potential components first ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html

@@chocolatecapricorn9418 We're just happy to help. One more thing to try is to hold down cancel for 5+ seconds. Sometimes this can reset and clear the code. If the error code comes back then its best to replace the control board. Seems like your gas stove controls are linked to your control board. Just bought a brand new Frigidaire Professional Wall Oven (PCWS3080AF). Code F16 came up immediately after it was installed. Why would they not even list this error in the manual? Costco Concierge support cannot help. Frigidaire is back in the office on Monday. Really regret this purchase.
Thanks for watching. A Code F16 can mean that the oven control board is not communicating correctly with the components. If you tried shutting off the power for 5 minutes and the code still appears it could be that there is a loose connection between the control board and one of the components, or that the control board is defective.
Thanks for watching. The oven is a Frigidaire, CGEF3036UW range. F2E0 means the touch control panel is failing or there is a stuck key on the keyboard. You can try to unplug the oven, or reset the breaker. As well you can double check that all the control board connections are secure. If that doesn't help then a new control might be needed.
My whirlpool oven after replaced a new control board the temperature flame still high even I drop temperature from 350 down to 250. What cause it do you know. Also the code show PF when you first plug in the power cord.
Thanks for watching. PF will show anytime the power is interrupted or when the oven is powered up for the first time. This code should clear and should not reappear unless power is disconnected again. There could be an issue with the temperature sensor. You can see how to test and replace the sensor in this specific video: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. Many induction ranges have a control board that controls the oven and the surface elements. Because of the variation and the fact that they aren't as common yet, we didn't focus on induction ranges. F5 or F70 codes could mean that the board is faulty.
Thanks for watching. Try resetting the power. If the code still appears it could be a faulty temperature sensor or an issue with the control board. You could inspect all wires leading into the control board as well check to make sure each connection is secure. The temperature sensor can also be tested with a multimeter. You can see more here: ua-cam.com/video/96s7maybHlY/v-deo.html
Thanks for watching. An F13 code can mean that there is an issue with the control board. If you have reset the power at the breaker and the code still shows up, then the board might be faulty and would need to be replaced.
My GE PB960SJ2SS profile Oven is getting a F50 code. I have unplugged it for hours and reset the breaker. Plugging it back in gives the error again. Anyone have any ideas of what needs to be fixed?
I are getting ErrA code that beeps in the middle of the night. I am old and live alone. It is not smart to go in the basement to shut of the breaker in the middle of the night. Any other ideas? It us a Criterion and inly 3 months old.
Thanks for watching. If the oven is only 3 months old it should be under warranty. If the code is not listed in the manual, then it might be best to contact the manufacturer or the distributor that you got the oven from and they can likely provide more information.
Thanks for watching. It means that there may be a problem with the control board or the associated wiring. It is recommended to shut off the breaker for several minutes. This can often reset the system. If that doesn't help then check to make sure the wires leading into the control board are secure and that there is no burnt or frayed wires. If the wires are good, then it could be a faulty control board.
Thanks for watching. A DR error code or D00R can mean that the door lock is enabled (or the oven thinks it is). If the oven door was open and the Clean button was pressed, this can happen. Try pressing Cancel with the door closed. If the door is open, press the oven light button in and press Cancel. As well try unplugging the oven (or flipping the circuit breaker to off) for a few minutes to reset the error. It could be a issue the the door latch assemble. The testing of the door latch motor and switches is shown in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/GTJRf-aCXbw/v-deo.html If these don't help and the oven is not locked, then the control unit probably needs to be replaced.

Thanks for watching. An F27 code means there is an issue with the keypad / control board. You could try checking the wire connections to make sure that they are secure. If this doesn't help then you might require a new control board.
Thanks for watching. An SE error code means that the keypad or touch pad l is shorted. If unplugging the oven for 5 minutes doesn't reset the error permanently then you'll likely have to replace the control board. Make sure to do a model search with for your oven. In some models there is a separate touch pad in addition to the control board. Most models however will have the touch pad integrated into the control board. The control board is simple to replace. The steps can be seen here: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html

Thanks for watching. If that issue happened right after a power surge then it could have damaged the control board or shorted one of the components. This video talks about the overheating issue: ua-cam.com/video/10ezc3LNQP4/v-deo.html It could also be a stuck relay on the control board, or just a faulty board but this cannot be tested easily.

This video goes into detail on how to troubleshoot power issues, test the outlet, power cord and what to inspect. It doesn't show how to access it on a wall oven, but the same concepts will apply to most ranges.
Thanks for watching. On Frigidaire stoves, an error code with F9 means that the door on the stove isn't closing properly. Thanks for watching. A f-c2 code can be an indicator that there is an issue with the communication between the keypad and control board. It could be a loose ribbon cable or a faulty keypad.
Thanks for watching. It might be a SEL, or even a 5E depending on how you read it. A 5E code can indicate that the touch control panel has shorted or has a stuck button. In some models there is a separate keypad that can be replaced and in other models this is part of the control board. Unplugging the model can sometimes reset this. As well any loose connections can also create this problem. If either doesn't help then it's best to replace the keypad or control board.

Thanks for watching. The F2E0 error code means a "Shorted keypad". Turn off the power to the oven at the breaker, for several minutes and turn it back on. Then check to see if the error comes up. It might just be an issue with one key or several keys. If the problem persists then you'll likely need to install a new control board. These are fairly simple to replace you can see how to do this here: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html

Thanks for watching. Stoves are heavy so it is often easiest to move it with two people. Sometimes stoves are held in by anti-tip brackets which might make it harder to initially move. As well if needed, the power to the stove can always be disconnected from the breaker panel.
Thanks for watching. Check your manual, but in some models you might need to hold cancel or a combination of buttons like the up and down temperature buttons to get the oven out of that mode.

If none of that helps, then it's best to install a new control board: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
very helpful thanks for the advice
You're welcome!
This is a sign that the control board has closed the relays giving power to the elements when it's not supposed to. ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
Now it is worth individually testing the bake setting, the broil setting and convection setting to see which elements turn on.
Selecting the bake setting, the bake element (and sometimes the broil element) will work together to heat the oven.
When selecting broil, only the top broil element will heat up.
During a convection, all 3 elements might be used (depending on the model)
Great ! Thank you very much for your prompt answer. I will verify the elements.
Finally it's the control panel. A bit expensive to change. But I don't have the choice. Thank's again !
@ You're welcome!
Hi, what does "FA:1r" means in oven Beko BIMF25400XMS? Thank

In this case if you tested the temperature sensor you'd find that the resistance is likely off or that it has shorted: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
what do L86 and H06 codes mean - showed up on my electric GE Range bought in 2022. cant find anything in the manual or on the internet. Thx

If any of these switches are faulty then it can create issues: ua-cam.com/video/nf0bN0VgdnUa/v-deo.html
If that doesn't show anything then check the door switch: ua-cam.com/video/sWSUzTuvFRI/v-deo.htmlsi=yIxkVN2bT5az2vkS
As well a faulty temperature sensor can cause issues if the oven thinks it is unsafe to unlock the door: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
Hope this helps!
I did hold in the cancel button and all it did was beep .. I also checked continuity w/ a meter like you had and I did get a reading .. so its not that ... the stove top works and the door opens now but when I push any of the oven push buttons like bake etc .. nuthin happens .. Thats the confusing thing ... the door opens but none of the oven operations work ... I'll check the other things it mite be tomorrow .. thnx ! @@AmreSupply
My Whirlpool just says F2. No other errors indicated. Unplugged it for 2 hours but it still says the same.
Thanks for watching. An F2 code can mean that there may be a problem with the Oven Temperature Sensor, the Control, or the associated wiring. You can see how to test & replace the sensor here: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
What does F 11 means on Frigidaire oven?
5:10pm
Thanks for watching. It can mean that the control board is sensing a stuck or shorted key on the touch membrane. This could be because the buttons are worn out and have been pressed to many times. Or there could be some corrosion on the control board. In some cases you can install a new keypad and in other cases you'll have to install a new control board: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
What does the F1 E3 error code on Whirlpool mean? I’ve looked it up and searched everywhere, but can’t find any information as to how to fix this one.
I have a Frigidaire range that has a code showing SD I believe that it is in showroom mode, my electric went out a couple of days ago,
5d means that your oven control board thinks it's in show room mode on this model. To try to exit show room mode, unplug the oven and plug the unit back in after 1 minutes. Press Cancel to bypass programming clock. Within 60 seconds of reapplying power, press Oven Light keypad as well as the Timer keypad simultaneously.
Hey I have a Frigidaire wall oven and its giving an error code of d0 for the broiler. I can't find anything. Any clues or insight for this?
Thanks for watching. I'm not sure and I'm not seeing much information on d0 codes. It might be referring to the door.
Does the oven function correctly?
@@AmreSupply The oven works as intended except for the boiler. It seems to develop some level of heat and keep the interior fan running but gives up a while after then spits out that code.
It worked on my ge range. I had to replace the temp sensor due to an F3 code. Thx Sr.
You're welcome Carlos, we're just happy to help out!
I'm getting an F5E6 on an old Roper range. Any idears? It just goes off randomly when the oven isn't in use.
Thanks for watching. With any intermittent power issue, check all wire connections to make sure they are secure. Look for any damage for the power cord wires and the wires leading into the control board. If needed you can check individual wires for continuity. If that doesn't help then it could be an issue with the control board.
What about code E2 - F3 - locked. It locks up and burns the food.
Thanks for watching. In your case its likely an issue with the temperature sensor not detecting the right temperature causing the oven to overcompensate. This can be tested from the back of the oven. You can learn more here: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
I have ge and the screen say “bad line” what would be? I need fix that asap. Thank you.
This video shows how to test the outlet, how to test the power cord and check if the wires into the control board are still good: ua-cam.com/video/wZwxewn2w44/v-deo.html
If that still doesn't help then it could be a bad relay in the board. You can see how to install a new board in this video: ua-cam.com/video/ORTi4lLyoqw/v-deo.html
Hi.Hopefully you can help me. I have a Whirlpool oven whit - - - C error code . I can not find nowhere what is that.
If the door stays locked it could be the door lock motor: ua-cam.com/video/GTJRf-aCXbw/v-deo.html
Or it could also just be an issue with the temperature sensor as in some models the oven control will lock the oven door if the sensor is faulty.: ua-cam.com/video/jnt_mUwdL8o/v-deo.html
Finally it could mean that you have a shorted keypad which would require a new control board.

In other models that use individual heat switches, a faulty control board wouldn't effect the stove elements. Still the control board repair is simple. You can enter your model number here to find an exact replacement if needed: www.amresupply.com/lookup
Hola buenas tardes. Que modelo es esa cocina tengo la misma y no le encuentro donde dice . La mia marca error F2 E0
Thanks for watching. The oven is a Frigidaire, CGEF3036UW range. F2E0 means the touch control panel is failing or there is a stuck key on the keyboard. any idea what could be causing an E1F6 error code for a whirlpool oven?
Thanks for watching. Try resetting the power. If the code still appears it could be a faulty temperature sensor or an issue with the control board. You could inspect all wires leading into the control board as well check to make sure each connection is secure. The temperature sensor can also be tested with a multimeter. I have a whirlpool stove. My oven doesn't heat properly and Im getting an F6E4 code. What does this mean?
Thanks for watching. It means that there may be a problem with the control board or the associated wiring. It is recommended to shut off the breaker for several minutes. This can often reset the system. If that doesn't help then check to make sure the wires leading into the control board are secure and that there is no burnt or frayed wires. If the wires are good, then it could be a faulty control board.
My mom's Whirlpool just had an error code appear this morning. The code is F3 E2
That is a temperature code which is explained at 1:43
Why My kenmore showed dr when we try to turning on the oven?
Thanks for watching. A DR error code or D00R can mean that the door lock is enabled (or the oven thinks it is). If the oven door was open and the Clean button was pressed, this can happen. Try pressing Cancel with the door closed. If the door is open, press the oven light button in and press Cancel. As well try unplugging the oven (or flipping the circuit breaker to off) for a few minutes to reset the error.
It could be a issue the the door latch assemble. The testing of the door latch motor and switches is shown in this video here: ua-cam.com/video/GTJRf-aCXbw/v-deo.html
