@@holly.grows.wilder I took about 2 weeks to start seeing the slips. Some are sprayed with something so they don’t grow slips. This video and the last one I can see a significant difference in you. You seem much happier and motivated. Glad to see it. Congrats on your seedlings. :)
I make my own compost too! I rotate four beds and the homeowner’s association where we live doesn’t allow composting (infestation of small animals, etc.) so I just bury my veg. Compost in the ground-dig a hole and bury it for three seasons, then plant there and so every three years each bed gets fed that way. I also have a large plastic paint bucket that is my fertilizer bucket where after I mow, I fill it and top it off with water, let it sit for a month and it smells like a barnyard (gag) but I pour it over my gardens and then compost the solid. Free fertilizer! My epiphanies came last year during lock down-I know how exciting it is. :)

Nasturtiums are so pretty :) Try growing them from seed too, they're absolutely the easiest flower to grow from seed. The ultimate plant and forget type flower.
Love the cardigan and it looks like its thin enough for a 3 season wearability without being too hot. And it looks lovely with your eyes and hair. I say keep it. And I am soo Envious! If you have a blender high powered enough to make peanut butter, do you recommend it? I've stuck to hand blenders before for my soups but my past three charity shop purchases burnt out, and a new one didn't last much longer either. I'm looking to invest in one that can blitz my walnuts and hummus and soups and will last me for years if not decades, like my mams Kenwood mixer.
I personally think food processors are the way forward rather than blenders - I've always had more luck when making things like peanut butter
Tbh i want that cardigan
Hello there,
Many thanks for the inspiration you give me. Apparently, you are the same "plantoholic" as I am😃 I love your sprouts, could you link where you bought those jars and lids with mesh I noticed in your previous video please? I use sprouting trays which I bought several years ago in my local garden centre here in Wiltshire, however they don't do a good job. Thanks!
Haha yes I think i am! I got them from my local zero waste shop but they're from a German brand called BioSnacky!
We love it
I love the cardigan :)
Ok so I loved the cardigan and I was wondering do you have a recipe you are willing to share for that pesto please and thank you
thank you so much! Of course, the recipe is actually in my food prep for Spring video here: ua-cam.com/video/Ed9VwL8HAmU/v-deo.html&lc=UgzQMyFtQdNF3n_WhWB4AaABAg
