- It's a beautiful and pleasant day as the man continues on his journey Northward, never dreaming of the adventure that waits in store on this very day. Come with me as I travel back into the late 18th century and explore what it was like to live and survive in the early American wilderness!

Thank you so much to all the re-enactors who spent their time and money to help me film this episode! We all had a lot of fun and managed to pull off most of the filming in one evening. Also, thank you to everyone else for watching and please leave me a comment in the section below.
I really enjoy these videos. If I was closer, I would be a bad guy, or clerk for video. I really like these period of history
I enjoyed the video. I wish I had lived in that time . I can't wait for the next video to see what happens next .
I enjoy your work and videos very much so. I will keep watching.
God bless
We're any of those natives native?
Not sure. I didn't ask.
Well again every bit as good as anything out of Hollywood today! And better than most! Thanks to everyone involved. It actually had me on the edge of my chair!
Excellent. Glad you enjoyed it and thank you for watching and for the kind words!
Reloading while running was a skill that saved many a frontiersman's life. Simon Kenton, Daniel Boone, Lewis Wetzel are 3 that come to mind. Wetzel was known for ambushing up to half a dozen braves by himself. He would kill one and take off, reloading as he ran with musket balls in his mouth. As soon as he was reloaded, he would stop, turn and fire killing another and take off again. One incident, he dropped 4 braves in a half mile stretch. The last 2 alive fled. Excellent video. I absolutely love this series!
Thank you so much! Glad you're enjoying it!
Braves?
We're the Indian reenactors actually speaking a real language? I thought the first episode was great although this series is continually getting better and drawing me more into the story. A big thanks to all who are making this possible. God bless and stay safe.
As far as I know, that was genuine dialogue. Thank you so much for watching and glad you're enjoying the series!
The first "Indian" comment was Shawnee. Cutahota means "condemned man". The next word they kept repeating was Lakota, loosely translated as "that's all I have to say." Like putting a period at the end of a spoken sentence. Both were misused in context, plus the fact that they were not dressed as either Shawnee or Lakota.
I really like this series. Action packed drama, as the saying goes. Catch you next time.
Thank you so much!
Thank you all for this series, I can't seem to get enough of it. Stay safe traveler, until we meet again!
You're welcome, glad you're enjoying the series!
I'm in Ireland ( Home of the Murphy's :) ) I had to wait a day to view this, I guess the distance between us took it longer to upload. I really enjoyed the story. It is wonderful to see how people lived and died in those old days. Your Goose was almost cooked but for Murphy being near by. I can imagine how many a White Man back then would not have been so lucky. The Narrator keeps us well informed of everything that is happening and everything that was used back then. Even something as simple as a blanket pin was a prized piece of kit. Loved the story and reenactment. Keep it going. Look forward to next part of the adventure. *Mise a Chara ( Your Friend ) ~Sean. /
Thank you so much for watching and glad you are enjoying the series!
You all did a great job! I really like your narration along With the story. Everything was nicely done... Good background music, guys that might not be professional actors doing an amazing job, locations that worked for the story, that was well-written. I also think all the props used by everyone, like all their gear and the way they wore it was realistic-looking.
I thank you for the fun entertainment and I hope you all enjoyed doing it so that we can get more similar stories with all of you.
I could be wrong but I think you sped up the footage during the chase movie scene, I don't think that's needed because even in the those days not everyone was super fast. It was good to be slow and cautious. If you fell and seriously injured yourself back then, it was a life changing event.
Pass out my thanks (and really from everyone who's viewed it) to your entire crew.
Thrilling stuff, good job those Indians were tribe elders and not young hot heads you'd have been a goner. This series shows how travelers were really up against it in those days, no wonder most folks stayed home. My thanks to the reinactors who did a great job but I'm sure also had too much fun...👍
Thank you so much. Yes, we all had a great time and it all turned out amazingly well they were all very professional and it was fun to work with them!
That escalated pretty fast which shows why you should never let your guard down.
Very true. Thank you for watching!
These are so cool-
Thank you, I love these!
Thank you so much! Filming for episode 12 is currently ongoing.

Thank you so much!
Thank you for an enjoyable series. Looking forward to the continuation.
Thank you so much!
This has been by far my favorite series on UA-cam. Awesome video my friend.
Thank you so much, glad you are enjoying it!
What I like about this story, is that you could show this to a child and not be concerned that it is too graphic. The narrator paints the picture very well, and the acting is just enough to carry the rest of the story. Your mind can imagine the rest. This would be like the stories told by days of old around the campfire. Very nice!
Thank you so much, I really do appreciate the kind words!
Wow I really enjoyed this episode. I wasn't expecting the surprise of the Indian attack. Very well put together. 👍
Thank you so much!
Excellent episode James! Thank you and your friends for the time and effort you put into this. Looking forward to the next episode. God bless brother.
Thank you so much, God bless you too!

@@WayPointSurvival I just started binge-watching these and really enjoying them!
Quite exciting. It seems God was watching over our adventurous traveler this day.
Indeed He was. Thank you for watching!
Really liking this series! This sets a new standard for historic fiction videos.
Thank you so much, glad you're enjoying the series!
Love the channel but especially loving this little series. Great job with the reenactment
Thank you so much!
This series just gets better and better. Absolutely enjoying this! Keep it up.
Thank you so much!
I like so much this series, congratulation. ... I see the north american native eat very very well... lol
Thank you so much!
I have a great time watching this story evolve! The car at 7:39 going threw the woods messed with me a little bit. Thanks to you and the other re-enactors they did a great job! Should add them into the credits! Keep them coming!!
Sorry about the car. I try really hard to control all of that but once I set the camera up and I was wrestling with the natives I didn't notice it as I wasn't behind the camera and we were making a lot of noise. I normally would reshoot a scene like that but I never even noticed it until I was editing and it was too late by then to get everybody back together and redo the take. Thank you for watching and glad you're enjoying the series!
I caught that too...added narration...to his misfortune, the passing horseless carriage was too distanced to hear his refrains of assistance....🙂
Another great episode. Waiting for next.
Thank you, my friend!
I find this whole frontier period and this series absolutely fascinating.
Thank you so much! Episode 7 should be out by Monday evening.
This series is fantastic! Can't wait for it to continue
Thank you, glad you're enjoying it!

One living history nut to another, good job!
Enjoying your video series. Looking forward to the next one.
Thank you so much my friend!
I love these homemade type historical films, passion for the topic is what makes a video good and not a Hollywood budget. It being December now I also like seeing the green scenery as I remember warmer days.
Thank you so much, I'm glad that you enjoyed the episode!
I'm getting so excited about what's to come keep on keeping on. I love it. Thanks again for all your hard work. Love from Texas
Thanks!
Really enjoying this series. A top notch job of all aspects, especially the narrative. Thank you again for this. Whether actual history or not, this is very enjoyable to watch.

A narrow escape. Great series. Thanks.
Thank you for watching, glad you're enjoying the series!
Great Job again and thanks for sharing this one.
Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed it!
I am enjoying your series. While watching I recognized a friend of mine, Russell, who is the Indian leader. He & I met a long time ago at Fort Randolph, Point Pleasant, WV. He is a great guy & is excellent at portraying his persona. Looking forward to the next episode. Keep your powder dry!
Thank you so much. Russell is indeed a great guy and reenactor!
Been watching this series and been enjoying it, good work.
I really have to hand it to you. This is great fun. There’s a riveting story and decent production quality. Quite exciting and fast paced. There are some funny moments too. Speeding up the walking made it funny, but gave it an endearing quality. Hollywood has CGI and special effects to accomplish their goals. But a small budget in-camera production has to do their best, and you did. Very entertaining and creative. Next chapter please!
Thank you so much. Actually, episode 7 is already out. And I hope to have episode 8 finished in the next week or so.
This series is so cool!
Thank you so much!
Another great episode. I am really enjoying this series.

Hi from Syracuse NY brother and thank you for sharing your thoughts and adventures and history and everyone else
Thank you so much, glad you're enjoying the series!
Great episode!
Thank you!
One living history nut to another, good job!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent!!!
Thank you for watching!
@@WayPointSurvival The somewhat incompetence of your character compared to what he seeming should be, it least a I see it. Although the situational awareness and forethought is something to behold. Nothing has taken me back like this.
If you have watched the whole series you would have found out that he is not a very competent woodsman although he is a fairly good hunter. Not everyone from that period was a Daniel Boone or a David Crockett or a Lewis Wetzel or a Simon Kenton. There were many common people of the day who journeyed long distances to start new lives for themselves and their families. Some of them made it and some of them did not. The character in my story is learning as he goes as many of them did as well. You either learned and adapted or you died, it was as simple as that.
Very good episode , thanks for sharing , God bless !
Thank you so much, glad you're enjoying it!
Love the series
Wow this was a really good episode thank you for sharing God bless✝️😊♥️
Thank you so much!
This is turning into quite the production!
Indeed it is. I'm very grateful for all the help I've been receiving lately. Thank you for watching!
I am loving these and binge watching them! I recognize some of the reenactors from the Long Run Massacre reenactment in Shelbyville, Kentucky this past year❤️
Excellent! I was really privileged to have so many volunteers to help out with the project!
Best one yet❤️
Thank you!
I love this series, Thanks for your work.
Thank you so much for watching, and glad you're enjoying it!
Can't wait for the next episode ,7
Thank you so much. I've already done quite a bit of the filming already for episode 7. Thank you for watching.
I love these stories. It's what attracted me to your channel.
Thank you so much, glad you are still enjoying the channel!
I love the series. Can't wait for the next one
Thank you, glad you're enjoying it!
I'm really enjoying this series.
Thank you so much!
I love this series
Thank you!
What did I learn? It's a blessing to have a high capacity Magazine and good rifle. Thanks for making the video.🇺🇸👻😎
Thank you for watching!
I'll be honest, the 1790s series is why I subscribed to your channel. So keep it coming. I really look forward to your videos. BTW do you ever attend the nmlra or CLA events?
Thank you. Yes, I do attend the nmlra.
Wayne is good man to have with you on the trail, had the torture continued it surely would have been hellish, and the worse it got the greater the amusement of the captors. That red capped fella had a devilish look in his eyes. As so often is the case in life what was needed was a good man with a primed and ready flintlock and courage in his veins.
Indeed. He came along at just the right time. Thank you for watching!
James, another good episode in a great series. The Indian re-enactors did a good job. Great costumes. Good thing Wayne came along, or your goose would’ve been cooked. I hope you were able to recover your gear. Keep up the good work.
Yes. More coming up in the next episode! Thank you for watching.
Love the red canvas tipi tent. I have the two polish ponchos that button together to make a tipi. I set it up once on the front lawn of a busy street. Everyone stopped and did a double take wondering how a coat was standing straight up. It was funny.
Thank you for watching and I'm glad that you enjoyed the episode!
@@WayPointSurvival yes it was wild!
Awesome
Thank you!
LiveAction... I love it I know it took a long time to get this video up and running and edit it.. Thank you so much for sharing ,it was awesome
Thank you so much, glad you liked it!
All I could say is wow
We definitely put a lot of work into this episode!
Keep up the good work brother
Thank you for watching, glad you're enjoying it!
Enjoyable!
Thank you!
Really liking this series
Thank you!
Awsome job sir
Thanks so much!
Enjoyed it
Thank you!
Phew, man that was a close call!!
Indeed!
Thrilling stuff, you were lucky not to be captured by young hot heads or you'd have been a goner. This series shows just how perilous traveling in those days really was, no wonder most folks stayed home. Your reinactor friends did a great job, costumes and equipment were first class.
Thank you so much, they really did a great job, every single one of them!
It's cool that people want to reenact this period of history with some historical accuracy.
Thank you so much!
Hey Jim great storyline well done . Is there more coming ? I hope
Thank you so much. Yes, I've already been doing work filming episodes 7 and 8.
Doing a great job
Thank you so much!
@@WayPointSurvival I was hoping the star didn't get killed.
Me too! Lol!
Funky Shawnees - FUNKY ! 😄
Pretty cool, right! Thank you for watching!
Very cool video man. Enjoyed the history lesson. Always watch out for booby traps.
Indeed. Thank you for watching!
That’s what you get for sleeping in 😂 Things are getting interesting now. I wondered if he would have a run in with the natives. I think I may have said it before, but thanks for this series, it’s nice to see something dealing with the early west (east of the Ohio river) just not enough out there about that time
Thank you so much. It was indeed an amazing time for this part of the country and, you're right, there's not a lot out there about the people and places of this period on film.
With there was a channels just for things like this that told historical stories the way you guys do
That would be pretty cool, wouldn't it? Thank you for watching!
