    Nice tutorial! I have to replace the old HDD in my wife's laptop with an SSD and give it a little maintenance, since it has never been openned in like 5 years, which is basically the time that passed since she bought it. This is gonna be so helpful!

      One question. I have the same model and it works fine but it heats up fast. I have a cooler so its not a problem but sometimes it freezes in the middle of a game or even in windows menu but approx 30 seconds later it comes back to normal. This happens every 30 40 minutes. Do you think cleaning up and changing the thermal paste will solve the problem or should I take it to a specialist? Thanks in advance

    Do you have ssd driver fot it? In 2017 i use Patriot 448Gb without any problems, but now with new Win10 disk sometimes not visible in BIOS. For new Acer models people shares special fikes for it, but i cant find this for F5-573G. My old dvd driver scratched, acer site empty, maybe you know where i can download original ISO drivers for this laptop?

    why you did not change thermal pads? I think that chip without paste use that small thermal pad.

  • @porktesinorn870
    @porktesinorn870 2 роки тому +1

    hi what do you call that chip that is placed beside the cpu? does that require thermal paste too?

    • @rickstechrepairs
      @rickstechrepairs  2 роки тому +1

      if it didnt already have thermal paste on there, then you probably dont need to add it

    It's nearly identical to my own model which is overheating, im thinking it's a failing fan that doesn't spin fast enough.
    The cpu intergrated doesnt need paste. It has a thermalpad.

    • @rickstechrepairs
      @rickstechrepairs  2 місяці тому

      odd, that it has a thermal paste, i would be thinking it might be a celeron or pentium cpu in your laptop

    ⛔You bend the cooler and break its locks. I don't understand why... if you leave the radiator full of dust. Also the plastic that joins the radiator. You also leave the hinge full of dust and lint... even the thermal pads are full of lint. Are you seriously a technician? 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔It doesn't cost anything to use a brush... a little air. AND BE A LITTLE MORE CAREFUL. Not to mention that you didn't put the gpu or processor protectors on. They protect a little from the thermal grease that comes out of position when placing the heatsink.
