acid free paper is archival, it means that it can be reused for art or in a scrapbook without degrading over time and damaging surrounding materials. ( you don't want the paper in your scrapbook to eat at the writing or pictures)
Check out EcoEnclose, they have fully recyclable stickers and backing, and I think they also do plant based inks now! They have recyclable and biodegradable mailers too. I've been looking into them but have wanted my own custom tissue paper and have had no issue on my mind for ages! I'm glad to see how yours came out.💛

I recently got a print from your shop and absolutely loved the packaging! My twin daughters (3 yo) were so in awe of the tissue paper. They were thrilled to help me frame and hang the print in our house. Thank you so much!
I watched this video again and again and I am reconsidering about ordering it. I am going to open an online store next month and I thought it would be nice if we have our own tissue paper but... I like your point. We don't want to use too much... either. I really like your tissue paper though. I will let you know when I decided either buying it or not. Anyway thanks for your honest review. You are not too intense about being ecofriendly haha. I've been seeing so many people using NoIssue, and I think it looks so cute, but I'm in the same boat of keeping packaging as minimal as possible. Since Alex worked in logged areas of Oregon with endangered species, I know the whole FCS certification thing is kind of a joke. The paper is still virgin, and harvested from forests (taking away environment). Theres really no such thing as environmentally friendly harvesting of trees. Obviously NoIssue isn't necessarily doing something bad, they may not even understand. If the tissue was recycled, I'd be much more interested. I actually emailed them about it, but I'm not sure why they don't just offer recycled tissue, because it exists. I almost made a video about this whole topic, but I felt like I was being too negative and never uploaded it haha. I really appreciate your honesty about it!

So I've been wondering about compostable mailers. Since I don't compost, should it go in the landfill or recycle? Seems like it doesn't quite fit in either.
Compostable mailers can be quite difficult to actually compost because they require an industrial composting facility, which many cities don't have. And since they're not made of petroleum-based plastics, they can't go in the recycling either. Unfortunately, if you just throw them in the trash, they won't biodegrade in the landfill. So they're really not a great option if you don't have access to an industrial composting facility.
The word you are looking for is lagom, it's a swedish word that sort of means just right. Very few languages have this word. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagom
