How do you trip plan ? , I try to do 200 miles a day and then stop for awhile, I don’t have an airstream,I have a Trailmaster Aspen Deluxe, that I tow with my 2012 Victory Cross Country motorcycle, I have towed it 45000 miles since 2012 , I think I’d rather have an airstream now, I did get a Buick Enclave, because I’m an older person now, but the bike and trailer sure beat an Alice pack and cold C- rations with a poncho hooch , but it was OK at the time
Right now, we are just planning our routes based on the National Park sites we havent been to yet. We should finish seeing every national park location in the lower 48 by the end of this calendar year. Otherwise, we "plant a flag" in a city and explore everything within a days drive of that city over the course of a few months and then move the flag to a different city. These trailers for sure beat the ALICE and C Rations!
If your va id gets you into the commissary (appropriated funds by congress, much more restrictive) i am guessing you are 100% rated by the va so there should be no issues with you using dod mwr facilities(non-appropriated funds). Recommend you call or check the websites. Some are first come first served and some take reservations. Many famcamps on active based have a number of military that get first priority.
Hello! Yes you can access these campgrounds. As of late 2020, veterans with a health benefits VA ID card have access to base, commissary and MWR activities. We are at an AS rally for Southern CA. One of the members had just viewed one of you videos that talked about the shock bolts on passenger side that come off. He came to check out and our was missing. There were several in our group. We all were talking about all the great info you put. 👌🫶😎
We are so thankful that people find our videos helpful! We will be speaking at the national rally this year to pass along some of our info. Hope to see you there.
Love that you are going to all these off the beaten path national sites. Such a great way to learn about our nation and its true history
Its a long drive to get to some of them but we have very much enjoyed it.
Great video! Love Blair’s giggle…. Enjoying it all!
Her giggle is one of my most favorite sounds!!!
I love seeing all these historical sites and you givin a brief overview of the place. Blairs Tony the Tiger growl was precious. Yall stay safe.
We are on a mission to finish visiting all of the National Park sites in the lower 48 this calendar year! We will be very close!
Ok I gotta tell you, THAT VANITY PLATE IS FREAKING AWESOME 👍👍 well done
Thank you very much!!!! It was all Blair.
I do like the way Blair gets a book stamped at all the NPS places you guys visit… we always resigned that duty to our kids and I regret that now.
It’s a nice way to track all the places we’ve visited.
We stayed at Windsor Cove for one night last summer. Really nice park!
We enjoyed our time there very much!

Do you have to be retired military or will my VA ID get me into the campgrounds on military bases, it gets me into the PX and commissaries
