Okay will I see some points made by the author I will defend Toga will yes her quirk did in fact cause some problems for her the true effect was those around her mainly her parents. If see was giving the correct help like how parents should of done then she would be more okay.
You're not wrong. At the time I wrote that piece, I was kind of hoping Toga would be more like Stein from Soul Eater. But she chose to give into her madness rather than trying to keep it at bay like him. Now I know it's akin to an actual need, not just a somewhat dark part of herself she chose to let take over.
It's technically not a quirk. Because Izuku had the potential of a True Meta as I called them. It's based from a series of comics I wrote myself after a traumatic incident. I went with the idea that True Meta powers are a bit like you might see in DC or Marvel. They aren't as generally random compared to quirks, and they aren't as widespread. As for the POV shifts it was to try and write in different voices and not just have long speaking sections. Oh and this was my earliest tale. So..... it's kinda rough.

Well this one is a bit longer. 75 chapters. Even when I did the rewrite to edit parts of the story it was still over 70 chapters.
