Nah, I don’t think y’all understand how comforting yet sad this MV is, I obviously think this is about the pandemic, we see them being together at school, laughing, being happy, and then they just stay in their house, talking through a screen. “A day, or two, a month,a year” It’s literally what it was, no one thought this was gonna be so long, yet here we are. Yeah the first thing I thought about for this song was about the pandemic and how we miss being with out friends and our summer being at home all season sadly.
The fact that they basically are representing us. It shows how many fans are having to deal with online school due to the pandemic and have to be there. And getting that "notification" that there will be schools closing and quarantine and it left us like, "Don't know what to do". When Soobin is cooped up in his room, rewatching videos of when he was with his friends. It hurts because many haven't seen their friends since quarantine began. 2020 was expected to the year that was to start off the decade right, oh it did but not the same way. The summer was supposed to be fun yet, we lost the summer. But with all this still going fans still find a way to at least have fun during this. Rather than talking about views, can we just appreciate how painful this song is??? Its a song with no specific message, just a bitter lament about how many youths lost what could have been one of the best years of their lives. I'm a member of the class of 2020. High school was the first time in my life where i really opened up and made friends with my peers after years of being ostracized and alone. I was finally going to get a graduation that i could enjoy and have fun with REAL friends. But that shits long. Gone. And i stopped being upset about it a long time ago too, but hearing this just made me realise that the wound is still fresh, and it might not heal for a long time still. And all of us right now are dealing with much bigger problems than "one" missing summer. I personally had my college entrance exams. Some people had to deal with their familiy members getting sick, losing jobs, or -God forbid- /dying/. Most of us had to push our grief over this to the side and focus on bigger shit. But this is something we're allowed to grieve over, damn it. All of us young people lost SO MANY precious moments that we might not ever get again. I just want to thank TXT and the BigHit production team for making this. When they said artists for healing they meant it.

Rather than talking about views, can we just appreciate how painful this song is??? Its a song with no specific message, just a bitter lament about how many youths lost what could have been one of the best years of their lives.
I'm a member of the class of 2020. High school was the first time in my life where i really opened up and made friends with my peers after years of being ostracized and alone. I was finally going to get a graduation that i could enjoy and have fun with REAL friends. But that shits long. Gone.
And i stopped being upset about it a long time ago too, but hearing this just made me realise that the wound is still fresh, and it might not heal for a long time still.
And all of us right now are dealing with much bigger problems than "one" missing summer. I personally had my college entrance exams. Some people had to deal with their familiy members getting sick, losing jobs, or -God forbid- /dying/. Most of us had to push our grief over this to the side and focus on bigger shit. But this is something we're allowed to grieve over, damn it. All of us young people lost SO MANY precious moments that we might not ever get again.
I just want to thank TXT and the BigHit production team for making this. When they said artists for healing they meant it.

As up beat a the melody was, watching this and listening to the song made me emotional just thinking about everything that has really been going on in the world this past year and what will probably continue for a lot of us (in the U.S. unfortunately). These guys never miss.
