Guys of course these kinds of doughnuts don't only exist in Poland but it's still something that's part of polish culture and just so happens to exist in other countries too. Thanks for the recipe looks great💗

Your pączki are looking very yummy 😋.
Though, I'm not sure if I've ever witnessed anyone cutting the dough. You can just roll some balls with marmelade inside and put them in oil. That's what my grandma always did when I was small. I miss being young.

My polish grandmother always cut them with a small glass, in fact it was my job as a child to do the cutting! She did not fill them with jam though, we always ate them plain, rolled in granulated sugar, and it was delicious.

Good job, nicely done. There is such an ingredient call Rum Flavouring. My Mom used to use it for Christmas/Fruitcake. But, I am positive that your doughnuts were tasty with the vanilla substitution.

@@cafecouffeeyes it is [also known as Pfannkuchen (East Germany) Krapfen (Southern Germany and Austria) or Koblih (Czech Republic)] as this type of dessert is common throughout Central Europe. Their cuisines are basically interchangeable. If you want to make a unique one I’d like to refer you to ovocné knedlíky (Czech Republick), Stollen (East Germany) and Salzburger Nockerln (Austria) 😊

There's nothing polish about this except the name. This kind of donuts are eaten all over central europe.

Fried dough is made all over the world, but she is not incorrect to say that paçki is a Polish sweet... what a pointless correction to make.
