- Today I will show you some of the plants from my April garden. Especially in the woodland garden it's going very fast now.
I will also show you how we plant perennials in the borders and how we grow annuals from seeds.
As I have told before we plant very dense to avoid weeds. - Навчання та стиль

I really enjoy watching your videos Mr. Dalby. I live in the US, in Frankfort, Kentucky. I'm in US garden zone 6B. My dream is to grow an English garden and your garden is such an inspiration. I especially love David Austin roses. I have six of them mixed into my borders and a couple in pots. Thank you for inspiring me to create my own little piece of paradise in Kentucky. James

Would be so kind and do a video on how you trained the roses the way did. I love the way they look like cages and the bloom time will be amazing. Thank you for your wonderful videos. 💕
Yes and also are you only using climbing roses for this clever way of training or just David Austin’s that grow long stemmed? Thank you from Melbourne Australia
Same here, those rose skeletons provide so much winter interest when not in bloom. I hope he explains.
Beautiful gardens, beautiful flowers and beautiful music. You are such an inspiration Claus. Thank you from Ohio, USA.

We planted Tulipa Purissimas in our garden after seeing them on your channel. They've been such a wonderful addition to the garden. Thank you for featuring them.

Looking at your beautiful blooms is always heart-warming but having a few glimpses of how you plant your perennials or how you grow your seeds is soooo educational. Please, share with us more of these behind the scenes/behind the blooms situations. We can learn so much from you!!!
I am pleased you like my videos - thank you very much.
Kebun yang indah
Please, Mr. Dalby, make a window box video 🙏. The color palette you chose last year was wonderful. The chartreuse, silver and yellow was a winner.
Thank you so much for your kind words and for your suggestion - I have made a mental note of the latter.
You're a therapist, Mr Dalby. I feel so much better after watching your videos. Thank you.
What a lovely comment - thank you so much.
Yes a weed is just a plant in the wrong place! I must plant like this as well because I live in a very warm climate with a long growing season so plants don’t necessarily have an “off” switch many seasons. I can tolerate a few native plant “weeds” in the in-between spaces for the sake of pollinators. I get to see the opposite in your cool climate garden which is so peaceful and beautiful always. I love formal/cottage as well. The juxtaposition of naturalism with a twist of control!
❤❤❤ Always wonderful to see your gardens.
Thank you very much.
Lovely garden, thank you Mr. Dalby. 🪻🌷💚🙃

Witam. W ubiegłym roku zwiedzaliśmy z mężem Danię, i Aarhus. Byłam tak blisko Pana. Za niewiedzę się płaci - będę żałować i to bardzo długo, że nie wiedziałam o tym cudnym ogrodzie. Pozdrawiam serdecznie z Polski.
Thank you very much.

A delightful tour of your beautiful garden, thank you Claus. Your enthusiasm for the plants and flowers you grow is infectious. I had to laugh about you have other things to do than weed. I am trying to achieve that, but not there yet.
I am pleased you like my video - thank you very much.
Hallo Claus, you can see how dence you plant, so close together. Also the structure s and layout is so incredible beautiful. I am so happy you are much more often on YT.

What an enjoyable video. I would love to see and hear more on how you prune and train your roses.
👏👏👏👏👏
Maravilloso 🌻🐝
Thank you very much.
It’s funny you like the Italian arum… I remove it from my garden here in Oregon because it is considered an invasive species. But I do agree with you.. it is very pretty and I feel slightly guilty plucking it and its tubers out of my garden. Thank you for the lovely tour!
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for watching.
Thank you beloved Claus.
Everything is so beautiful, you certainly have a wonderful piece of our planet there
You are very kind - thank you.
Lovely and inspiring garden. 💚from Tennessee.
Hi Claus and thank you for all the practical tips you add in every video, I can spend all day watching your garden.
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for watching.
Beautiful woodland garden. It looks so carefree, but with the predominant early spring color of yellow and chartreuse I know it had to be carefully planned and planted. Looking forward to the next garden tour. Thank you so much for the inspiration.
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for being here.
Hello hello greetings from Poland
Your gardens are gorgeous and it looks beautiful! Thank you for the video as it was the highlight of my day!
My pleasure! Thank you for watching.
I'm amazed at your snakeshead fritlllaria and; they look so beautiful. How do you prevent those red lily beetles from decimating them? I've given up trying to grow them because of these pests.
What a joy to see your garden. I absolutely love it. 😍
You are very kind - thank you.
Oh Claus thank you 😅 I've been trying to identify a plant in my garden and you've just highlighted it, Arum italicum 🎉
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for watching.
Your garden and ideas for gardens are always wonderful. I like the idea of having plant areas so full that weeding is unnecessary. Thank you for all your videos.
Thank you very much and thank you for being here.
Wonderful! I love the organic planting design and how naturally it grows together. Lots of work but so worth the effort. Thank you.
You are very kind - thank you so much and thank you for watching.
Thank you so much for a lovely video of your garden Claus. You are such an inspiration. My daffodils and tulips I grew in pots this year are sadly over but I was thrilled with how they featured in my garden. Can I ask you Claus the bulbs you grow in pots do you leave them in the pots for next year or do you take them out to store them over the summer. Lorraine. I live in South Gloucestershire, England
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for being here. We remove the bulbs, once they begin to fade, as we need the containers for all my annuals and dahlias.
I love the tool you made by yourself. In my garden i have a bad invasion of groundelder and other weeds that goes over rhisoms.
Could you give me an inspiration of new and strong plant for shady/halfshady places that wins against the weeds?
Beautiful as always. My borders are very full, but yours are even more. Thank you for the inspiration. Do the fritilaria need sun? I have a very shady North facing border that has hellebores, hostas and astible, and I wonder if they would do well? It is too shady for daffodils and tulips.
I really like your style of gardening , that is reminiscent of woodlands!
I am pleased you like it - thank you very much.
Hvor dejligt at se dig her på youtube Claus! Vidste slet ikke du også var her. Kh inde fra midtbyen 😃
Mange tak skal du have.
Looking so beautiful! ❤ I learned to broadcast sow my coleus last year and was amazed!
As always Claus, such an uplifting and inspiring video and lovely weather too. Im checking Peter Nyssen bulbs (UK) now for some of the daffodils that you featured and putting them on my order list for the autumn.
Sounds like you are planning a beautiful spring next year!
Wake up Claus's garden! It's our happy place on UA-cam!! 🌹🌹💐💐🌹🌹💐💐🌸💮🏵️🌻🌷🌺😊😊😊
What a lovely comment - thank you.

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful garden with us. It would be interesting to see how you train your roses over the frames.
The pleasure is all mine - thank you for being here.
Can you please please please do a video on all the gorgeous multi trunk trees in the middle of the beds? I want to have that but don’t know which types of trees to select
Music is subjective. I prefer listening to you talk enthusiastically about your plants. Your knowledge is desirable.
You are very kind - thank you.
With a name like pulmonaria, you wonder if it beneficial for lungs?
