Sup Rubin I've been binge watching all your construction videos, I'm located in NJ like 25 minutes from the city, would I still be able to do Building Works pre-apprentice? I didn't see any residency requirements on their application. I called Construction Works and they only do NY residents, but I know you recommended Building Works over them anyways so i wasn't too mad lol
@sebastian63amg building works is just guaranteed with little to no wait. I can really speak for the other programs, I tried to reach out to the coordinators but none of them got back to me. From building works out of 100 people only two has told me they didn't make it through the 2nd interview. With that said my own brother was that one of them. He told them he was going to college to be a nurse and they canned him from the program. He did the program 6 months later and got into the carpenters after completing the program 3 months later (In 2024 the program is only 6 weeks because of the need of apprentices)
